"It's like Slumdog Millionaire in there!"

I have been waiting for this movie to come out forever!
I have watched the trailer like a thousand times.
And it finally graces us with it's presence at the Paramount theater tomorrow.

I will show up extra early just in the unlikelyhood that more than five people show up.
I am so excited.
This is making my month right now.
Basically an early birthday present.

In other news, I heart apple juice right now. More than you could possibly imagine.

Something quick.

I have to sleep pronto.
But.
I love Wednesdays.
They are my new favorite day.
This might be because it is new day off.
But its up in the air right now.

I like sleeping in.(which is really just waking up when everybody else wakes up.)
I like being able to lie in bed for 20 minutes just thinking and relaxing. Not too tired that I fall back asleep but not too alert that I want to jump out of bed and start my day.

I like taking time to get ready since I don't have to be anywhere at any specific time so I can take as long as I want.
I like doing something for an hour..and then realizing I still have the rest of the day to do whatever I want.
I like having time to stare into space on not feel guilty about it.

I like being outside on a crisp, October day. Soaking in the last bits of warm sun and having photo shoots.

I liked almost all of today and I'm counting down 'til next Wednesday.

You heard it first.

Just letting y'all know I'm taking a short break from my McDonalds diet.
Because...MONOPOLY STARTS TOMORROW!
this is one of the happiest times of the year for me.

And this year I will win something big. If not by myself I will recruit Matthew to pool our resources.

I have not decided if this means I'm allowed carbonated beverages yet. Maybe just from McD's?

Speaking of time management..

Okay this is really bad. I go to blog about time management at 9:55 pm when I am waking up at 4 the next morning while at the same time I am doing like 30 other things I have to get done tonight.
But then again..maybe that means it is fitting?

So, as you guys have noticed my blog is very light and cheerful and never really anything about seriousness. I would like to change it up tonight and actually talk about some of the stuff going on in my life. (Don't get too scared. It's not that bad I promise. And it will be short..for reason mentioned previously.)

Let's be honest.
It helps that not many people who read my blog go to my church :).
I don't really understand my pastor at all. Or maybe it's not that I understand..I just don't really try very hard. And it makes it very frustrating for me since as much as I want to learn and grow in my Christianity I feel like I'm being held back a bit, since church is a big part of guiding Christians along.

Awhile back I actually did go to a couple of different churches testing them out and I might start doing that again. But only half of me wants to do that because I do really love my church.

Okay, so that's serious subject number 1

2: along the lines of that, at young adults tonight all we did for our study was go over what had been said in the sermon this morning.
And this helped IMMENSELY! I don't know if Ryan was putting it in a way I could understand better or I was just in a better mood for listening but I actually could pick stuff up and it was so applicable.

We talked about time management. Which made me laugh alot inside.
Cause looking at my life right now you could probably say that there is no structure and I have no idea what the heck I am doing.
Here is how it goes.
When I come home from work I am super stinking tired and I do not want to do anything except lie on my bed and watch tv shows or read.
So I push all my responsibilities away promising myself I will do them later.
That continues for all of the week and finally Friday is here and I get all excited cause I get to relax and recharge. But ooops, I can't, cause now I have to do all that stuff I didn't do during the week. And since it's the weekend I feel as if I can go to bed later and it all ends up in my being overworked(on the weekend!), tired and really not looking forward to starting it all over again on Monday morning.
So I felt very convicted after this whole discussion.
Especially when I remember that I have been pushing off things like devotions and prayer as well. it makes me sad.
So, starting tomorrow I am going to live in a box with just me and a Bible, k?
Hah. I know it doesn't work like that. Although, sometimes I wish it could.
It will take me quite awhile to figure out how I can cut back off on frivolous things and get more into things that really matter.

That's about it.

And that is the serious portion on my blog for..6 months at least I would say :).

A slight break from the Caribbean.

Since I am not on my laptop and therefore no pictures.

One thing I have been wanting to mention for a while now and have just not had the time for it is..time.
I am going to get all philosophical on you now.
JK guys! It would take Hannah a while just to figure out what that word means :).

So.
Do you ever have that 'condition' (and I know of at least..1 person who does)
where you see a certain numerical time like every day.
Am I confusing you yet?

Explanation.
Every day at least once I see 11:26.
I do not know why. I don't know if it has a meaning or anything but every day without fail I see it. And sometimes..on a weekend or if I'm being really crazy and stay up too late I see it twice and it drives me crazy.
Like actually.
I am getting to the point where it upsets me.
I try to avoid it as best I can but I keep seeing it.
Any suggestions?

FYI:
Remember how my cat brought me that loverly present of mouse head and guts?
Well, it's happened two more times since then.
I think he's trying to tell me something. But honestly it's not my fault he gets locked out of the house some nights.

Do you know what I like best? Hanging out by myself. I have a good time. And I don't have to worry about being talkative or what the other person wants to do and when they want to leave. There is no awkward silences.

My job is teaching me how to appreciate weekends. Before this I never took them that seriously. Of course it hasn't helped that the one job I have had made me work every SAturday so I never got the true feel of it. But now that I am a Mon- Fri girl I count down the days and hours and as soon as I have left the building on Friday afternoon I feel like a free spirit. My body though, is still on 'go to bed early and wake up early' mode so I start feeling it about 8. Which is why I must keep myself alive with coffee. I just hope I'm not so into the routine that I will automagically wake up early tomorrow. Gah. I will hate life if that happens.

Okay, I need to finish my book before I sleep.
Goodnight all.
Happy weekend.
Happy Birthday Rylee and David.

Official birthday countdown starts now. 30 days.

You have a nice 'bumpah'. Jamaica #2.

Day 3:
Since it was our first full day there we spent it figuring out what we wanted to do and lying on the beach.

And I got a sweet burn. I had carefully planned how I was going to go about getting an epic tan and that fit in perfectly.
Now, a funny story with the next part of the day.
My mother has a watch. Which she wanted to keep on Kamloops time so that every time she checked what time it was she could figure out what the little boys would be doing at home. And she thought she would just keep track of what time it was by figuring out the time difference whenever she checked her watch.
So. Hehe. We made reservations at the asian restaurant.
For 6:30. We got ready a little bit early and slowly made our way down..and got the the place. But the strange thing was nothing looked ready, and yet all the waiters didn't seem to be in any rush. They were just sitting around chatting away. And giving us very strange looks. We waited for a while..and a little more until finally one of the guys came over and asked us if we needed anything. We explained that we had reservations for 6:30 and after a little confusion they explained to us that it was 4:30 and they didn't even open until 6.
Ooops. We must have looked like total airheads. They laughed at us.
And we had to go find something to do for two hours while dressed up to go to dinner.
But when we ACTUALLY went back it was really good.

I had :
Vietnamese Pork Dumplings- Spicy Pork Dumplings in a ginger sesame sauce.
Tom Yam Koong- Thai hot and sour prawn soup ( My mother was very surprised that I ordered this. I am not usually one for seafoody type things).
And for main course I had Cashew Chicken-Chicken, Cashew nut, Sweet Peppers, Onions and baby corn. *picture below*
All in all I would have to say that might have been my top pick of the three restaurants although at the time I had chose the Asian to be first since I don't really like that type of food so I wanted to get it over with.

And since they had no dessert there we just walked over to the buffet and some there. Mmmm. The cheesecake was to die for. And so every night after that we made sure we checked back to see if they had it.
Their coffee? So either since they are not coffee drinkers they don't know how to prepare it right or the jamaican coffee actually tastes like that but it was not good at all. But as I am a true addict :) I drank it anyway.

Day 4:

So the brochure told us it was going to be a soothing, relaxing climb.
If you ask my mother she will tell you it was anything BUT soothing. We didn't know what we had gotten ourselves into. But by the time we figured it out it was really too late for mom to go back :).

"Climb the falls in a human chain led by experienced Falls Guides. Pause at the 'massage parlour' and experience the soothing effects of the water as it cascades to the sea. For the less brave - live vicariously. View the activities of the more intrepid from the "safe" vantage point of the terrace or deck."

So the idea of it was pretty simple. Holding hands with a group of about ten you scale the side of a waterfall.
I didn't like the part of holding hands. Not only because its with complete strangers and thats just weird but also because if I had done it by myself with only me to worry about I might have actually been relaxed and soothed by everything. But trying to find footholds on slippery rocks while the water it pounding away and you and there are people on either side holding your hand thus preventing you from putting out your hands to secure yourself..not the greatest.

But it was something new that I've never tried so that made it fun.
And having video'd proof that my mother partook in such a crazy adventure made it even better.

We had lunch at the Sunset Jamaica Grande Hotel in Ochos Rios. It's one of the sister resorts to Sunset Beach but boy, was it different.
And that must be when I started appreciating our little run down resort.
It was so big and impersonal and there was so many people it was crazy.

And the desserts were not great at all so that was obviously one of the factors in my decision against it.

But they had these cool watermelon sculptures everywhere.
These things are so sweet. Haha. A pun.
Anyways..

The rest of the day we must have just hung out and had supper at the buffet since I don't remember anything extraordinary happening.
Usually what we do is since we were so tired from doing things all day we would have supper, listen to some of the live music after and then settle down for bed by watching movies and reading.

And that's it for today, folks.

You look trash. Jamaica #1.

So, maybe I understood him all wrong, which wouldn't be hard with his deep accent but I'm pretty sure it went like this.
If you say," You look trash". It means you are looking good.
If you say," You look like trash". It means what it says, you don't look good at all.

Unfortunately I didn't have anybody tell me I looked trash. Oh well, maybe next time in Jamaica.

Day One:
We drove down to Kelowna giving ourselves plenty of time to get there and get settled without having to race the clock at all. Well, it turned out we didn't need to worry about being rushed since our plane got delayed a couple times and we actually had around two extra hours. Great. It really helps when you are in such a HUGE airport like the Kelowna International Airport, there is SO much to do! :D.

We sat. And sat. And had some Tim Hortons.

(Clown gingerbread cookies at TH. Who knew?)
I wish this trip could have been the Tim Hortons tour to see what different kind of things they have at each one. But, Apparently Tim Hortons is a Canada thing which I forget everytime. Maybe it's up to me to start my own in Montego Bay. Problem is Jamaicans don't like coffee. They are tea drinkers. Even though they have coffee plantations all over the place only about 5% of the beans are used in Jamaica.

We went through security and waited on the other side for a while.
I love the patience game.

One long flight and we were in Toronto. Now that airport was big. Too bad that my mother didn't not have a rolly suitcase. No, she had her old suitcase from the seventies which has to be lugged everywhere. Which got tiring after the first two minutes. Which did not make walking all the way to our hotel very fun. She even made me carry it for a while which I do not think is very fair since I had brought one with wheels for this specific purpose.

(Paper type things getting swirled around by a water current. My mother made me take a picture.)

We walk all the way to the hotel and we find that there is only one restaurant there and it's pretty expensive, but we didn't really have a choice so we just ordered salads and shared a dessert. The salads were actually huge, I don't think I even finished mine but that could have been since I added chicken ANYWAY I'm sure you didn't want to know EVERY detail of the trip :).

Day two:
The next morning we woke up, had showers, decided to skip the expensive breakfast and wait until we could find a timmies seeing as the oatmeal was like $10!
Tried to figure out how to self serve check in, (Things have changed alot since I last went on a trip) failed miserably, had to get attendant to come help.
Went through, found our timmies.
*side note*
Every time we went to TH on the trip I ordered a bagel.
Everything bagel toasted with butter and cheddar cheese.
EVERY time they gave me processed cheese. Even when I double checked to make sure they realized I wanted the real stuff not fake. It was so gross. I had to take it off every time. Not very fun.

Bought an awesome hat. Cause obviously I couldn't even wait to get out of the country before I started blowing my money.

And waited for while.
Plane trip. This is when I watched Fringe for the very first time people. I started Season two cause that was all they had, and it was a little confusing coming in without knowing all the back stories but it was still epic.
We get there and it's hot. Obvs. But not as hot as I thought it would be.
I was sort of comparing it to when we got off in Haiti. Which totally doesn't count since in Haiti we walked out of the plane onto the landing strip thing. Whereas here we walked into the air conditioned airport.

CUSTOMS!
Wow, that was a fun line.
It took forever. A bunch of planes had all arrived at the same time so it was a sudden influx of people. It was kind of fun people watching and racing people from other lines to the finish. (in my mind, of course. I would never actually engage in embarrassing behavior like that.)

Found our driver on the other side, waited in the bus for a while.
Driver told us all sorts of things. But seeing as it's hard enough for me to recall the day to day happenings of my trip I think it would be near impossible to remember everything that everyone said.
We were one of the last to get dropped off at our resort so we saw some of the other places first. Which made getting at Sunset beach a little hard.
Let's just say, Sunset beach was..aged. No longer in its prime. Which, at first depressed me a little bit. Haha, if you had seen me in the first hour or two it would just be an eyebrow raised with an unimpressed look on my face.
But as it turned out I ended up liking it alot better like that.
It was is one of the few family resorts which gives it a more relaxed feel, and really, do I need everything to look brand new? (Rhetorical question..please don't answer :).

(view from our room over looking one half of the resort. Btw, during the seven days I was there I did not see those tennis courts being used even once!)

Since we were pretty hungry when we first got there we went to the buffet to grab something to eat.
Note: When we first got there we were some pretty big newbs. It took us a couple days to get the hang of things.
We had the 5:00 tour with Kenijah.
And we just explored and hung out for the rest of the day.

End of day 2.

Maybe blogging TOO much now?

Haha, I have to laugh at myself sometimes.

First I was freaking out at work cause I thought I wasn't being fast enough but they told me I was pretty much the best.
And then today. I'm panicking cause I'm trying to remember how to do everything and I was worried that I was going to forget and do it wrong or have to ask my trainer how to do it like a million times but as I was working and he was watching to make sure I did it correctly he commented that since I was doing it so fast and without any problems it was as if I had worked at NRI before. :) I felt pretty good after that.
I just need to start chilling and remind myself that the job is actually really simple I just need to stop over thinking things so much.

My babies left me a present on the front steps today.
Who doesn't think a mouse head and insides are not the most amazing gift ever?
And if that wasn't enough as I walked a few steps further I found a birds feathers scattered all over the driveway and there was blood on the rocks.
Mmmm. Delicious. I guess thats his way of telling me I shouldn't leave him outside overnight.
It's not my fault though. I told him it was time to come in but he didn't want to listen.

Country Wednesday.

I think it is totally unfair for my car to start frosting up in the mornings already. I mean, it's only SEPTEMBER! It's not supposed to get this cold until like the middle of November.
Doesn't help that my rear defrost is broken.
Oh well, not like there is anybody on the road at 4:30 am :).

P.s. That has nothing to do with my post at all. I could see you trying to figure out what cold has to do with country.

So.Oh another side note:
I am skilled at sweeping..and cleaning bathrooms. And the weird thing is I actually enjoy doing the latter.
You should hire me to clean your house.

Okay, for cereal this time.
On Wednesdays instead of playing Sirius Pop or Sirius 80's, Jenn forces everybody to listen to Sirius Country. In the first hour I wanted to shoot myself. But eventually my mind numbed to it and it wasn't so bad. Heck, the last hour me and Barb(Yeah, that`s right, I have friends at work already.) were discussing big country artists like Billy Ray Cyrus(I heard `Achy, Breaky Heart` for the first time) and ..somebody else who is very famous but I have forgotten her name. Apparently she is coming to Kamloops.

OH! And I got `promoted` today! I no longer open boxes, scan items and put those items into different boxes. I now....................open boxes, scan items and put those items into different boxes! It`s totally different I assure you.

OH! And my boss called me into his office after my lunch break...and..told me I am doing an amazing job! Yay me. Apparently on Monday I was star employee and Tuesday was second place. And here this whole time I thought I was such a newb and going way too slow.

And tomorrow is Thursday which means the next day in Friday!! Things are looking up people.
I no longer hate life all the time. Just some of the time =).

Full of confessions.

Okay, maybe just one for tonight since it is already so late (*gasp* 9:20! Way too late for my new sleeping pattern.)

So, you might have noticed that I have not been up to my usual blogging standard.
There might be a reason for that.

TWITTER

It's not like I am addicted or anything. Hardly.
To put it in one hyphenated sentence:
Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.

Rather than having the idea for a blog post, trying to remember it, finally getting to a computer but forgetting about it until a week later when I finally try and write out what was so amazing way back then..it just doesn't feel right.

But with twitter, you think of something funny or something else you would like to share with your little group of faithful followers and you whip out your phone, text it away and BAM! instantly it's out there.

Not saying it totally replaces my little writing thing I've got going on here. Come on, do you think I can say everything on my mind in less 140 characters sometimes? No way, jose.
But per usual with my generation I am taking the faster, easier, more efficient way out.

P.s. Remember that Jamaica post I promised you months ago? It's totally still coming =).
And I promise I won't put it into,

Haelle "Jamaica was amazing! Yeah, man. Keep the drinks coming! Nothing better than lying on the beach all day. Had so much fun."

Open wide!

I have a confession.
I broke my diet today.
In a matter of speaking.

I promised myself that I wouldn't go to McDonalds for a while and I *may* have stopped in there this afternoon. BUT IT WAS FOR A GOOD CAUSE, I assure you.

A. My job sucks and I needed a pick-me-up.
B.I had planned on going to dairy queen but I missed the turn off.

The basic gist of it is this.

I went to the othodontist today.
And..they gave me fangs.

If you actually want to see it you might have to click on the picture to make it bigger.

In actuality, they glued these metal bars things to my front teeth so I can't bite down. Cause I'm wearing down my teeth and my jaw isn't moving fast enough and all this ridiculousness.
So, my molars can't touch anymore which makes it very awkward for eating.
Eating is in fact none existant right now.
Except..for the hot fudge sundae that I bought at McDonalds.
That's ALL I got I promise.

OH, and lucky me! I get braces right before Haiti! That will be the best.

BTDubs: For everyone out there(namely Jill and Ang cause you guys have asked)
I have a job.
Obviously I couldn't stay unemployed for long, I found it quite boring.
I work at NRI, for those of you who know what that is..pity me. For those who don't..I don't want to explain for the 100th time =D.
Let's just say...I can't wait until the end of October.

EDIT:
Heck, I didn't even mention the best part of this new vampire-like state..I talk funny! Yay. I though I sounded weird when I got braces..but now my 's's sound really strange. Please don't make fun of me next time you hear it.

TILT trying to put a happy perspective on things.

So. My life is a little joy free as of late.
Not that I want it to be that way, I'm just digging myself in a hole really.

But in spite of it all I'm going to record some happy things to try and boost a cheery mood.

1.Chai tea with milk and sugar. = my latest obsession. Usually I can't stand having anything in my tea, I prefer it black so this is a change for me.
2.

Tyler Ward in general makes my life a happy place.
3. Looking good. I'm sorry, but there is a nice feeling I get when I know I look super awesome.

4. My family. Aw. I love hanging out with them all. And I realize that we only have a few years left before we all get separated into our own lives so I'm going to try and make the most of NOW.

5. As much as it kills me to get ready and drag my lazy butt out of the house *usually* when I get out and hang out with people it turns to be really fun.

6. Waking up in the morning..
6.5. When I want to.
6.75. Preferably in the morning, but I'm alive cause I've gotten so much sleep and I feel amazing. Make sense?

7. Music. Definitely the highlight of my life right now.

It's what I like best.

I got in a mood today.
Good thing that usually my moods mean alot of time spent in the kitchen which was the case today.

I started off with cupcakes since I had a huge craving for them. But only white cupcakes.
There was no premade box waiting for me in the pantry so I actually had to make them from scratch!

Then I got sidetracked while looking for meatball recipes and discovered an easy Quiche recipe that looked really good.
Quiche has always been one of those things that I hear about alot and I've always wanted to try eating or making it but just never gotten around to it.
Well, it surprised me. Who knew that it was pretty much an egg pie? I asked my mother about a dozen times if I am actually supposed to be making a pie crust for this.
It had been ages since I made pastry but it actually tasted amazing.

Meatballs! Haha I had fun with these. I couldn't find a recipe ANYWHERE so..I improvised. Just tossing in things that looked good :) and did a basic sauce. Well, the idea of it was basic but there was a million ingredients. They tasted SO good. Too good in fact, I'm sorry to say but most of what went into my stomach today was either bacon or meatballs so after dinner I didn't feel so well.

It's a good thing I got around to all of this today because starting next week there are going to be alot of changes..stay tooned.

Das ist Leben.

Sometimes I pretend I'm cool. But then I realize I'm not.

EAT

I am a firm believer that everybody is entitled to fat days.
Mine was today.

Having a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast to go along with my chocolate peanut butter icecream.
And then going for a nap an hour and a half after I wake up. Not cause I really need it..but because I don't want to do anything.

Watching tv show reruns on my computer for most of the day in my bed because I don't feel like doing anything.
Eating. Eating. Eating.

A second nap.

It has been great.
Although in case you think I am a total slob I will say one thing,
I am sick too, k?
That has to count for something.

Epic Fail!

Haha, so Summer Goals.
I would like to say that the excitement and effort that I had for the first..2 days should count for something!
And I actually did go out of my way to try at least a couple times for all of these things.

But here we go.

1.Sixpack
2.Travel(Yay, the only one I actually accomplished!)
3. Make my own CD
4.Learn Spanish

So, 1. I started with the right attitude by buying myself a pass to the gym in Valleyview but you know, I did work full time all summer..and I think that gym is creepy..so no, it didn't get done.
2.Yay I went to Jamaica! 'nuff said.
3. Make my own CD..haha I tried to write..a couple times I promise..I think this is going to be more like a 5 year goal.
4. I bought the book. :D

So. Hannah is not a quitter. When Hannah does not get it done on time she gives herself more time.
1. I have now started up a routine..and so far it's held up for three days so I'd say I'm doing pretty good. I've also cut out McDonalds and Carbonated Beverage. All for the greater good of getting myself in shape.
2. Done and Completed. Although I could count Haiti as bonus points.
3. I'm narrowing my goal to writing one song and actually getting it recorded at a studio..I've got contacts so the recording it part will be easy :D.
4.Now the book will be put to use..I will say my goal is to actually be able to have small conversations.

It might look like these are small, but I am only giving myself 'til Christmas to accomplish them(I mean I have to get these goals out of the way so I can make new ones in January!)
So I hope since there are only 3..and they are pretty small it will be easy to focus and get 'er done.

Beware the groove.

So first of all I'd like to say that Emperors New Groove is probably in my list of top ten favorite movies. But of course I've never sat down to figure out that list so I'm not totally sure.

I was just reminded of it this morning so I think I'm going to watch it today.

Anyway.
I woke up at 7:30 this morning for no reason.
So I'm making cookies.
And drinking coffee.

And telling you guys a story that just came to mind.

So at camp every day the leaders are allowed to have roughly $1 worth of tuck(candy).

*pause* Noah has to go feed the chickens so at the moment he is banging a spoon against a pan to scare off the bear. It makes me laugh.
*play*

And I absolutely love coke bottle candies so every day I would get 20 of those. But the thing is when it's comes to candy I like diversity as well, so every day after I got my 20 coke bottles I would go over to Brandon(one of my best friends) and I would trade him two of my candies for two of his watermelons.
Every day.
People asked me why I didn't just get 18 bottle and 2 watermelons, and I could have...but it was just a nice little routine we had.

So now every time I have watermelons or coke bottles I think of him.
Aw. :)

We had many great 'adventures' together.

One time his mom sent him a bag of cookies..this huge bag..
And we spent the entire day lying on the couch watching movies and eating those cookies,.we must have had like 20 each.

Or the time Me, Brandon and Annalisa got stuck on the wrong side of the lake overnight because of the fire so we bought a Hannah Montana icecream cake and watched 'Parent Trap'.

Or the time we hung out in the yarn shop together.
Haha, I miss that boy.

New Favorite Band.

All my good intentions..

Since I'm giving myself a week off I decided to start it off right by cleaning and fixing up the yard.
Killing two birds with one stone I would be making the place look pretty and excercising my body which is a goal I have for two weeks.

It started off...well, I guess.
I thought cleaning the boys house was frustrating because you spend two hours cleaning it and ten minutes later you can't tell that you cleaned at all.
Well, our yard is way worse. No matter how much you do to it it always looks like it could use ten more hours of work. Lately I have been raking up leaves which seems a little strange to be doing in August but you have to know that these leaves are not from this year. Nope, they are from the past 4 years all building up. It's been A LOT of fun.

But here I started at 10 am and I was planning to spend the better part of the day out there and I actually didn't really mind all the work when I'm walking back from the house with the saw(yeah cleanup around my house are intense) and I hear some crashing around over by the willow trees..and I look..and about 40 feet away from me is a little black bear.

I'm not really scared cause the door is 10 feet away and i do have a saw in my hand if things go sour. I call for Sean to grab my camera cause my first thought it obviously to snap a picture so I can show my readers. We watched sniff out the chicken coop and go through the bushes, the whole time I'm wishing that he would just start charging towards us, but it didn't happen. And watching him got boring so we all came inside and I have changed my mind about doing anymore yardwork today.

Are you ready for this?

There is this part in ‘The Back-Up Plan’ where Zoe is trying to figure out how to tell Stan that she is pregnant.
She is talking to herself in the mirror and trying to find a comfortable way to say it.
"I'm pregnant."
"I'm going to have a baby!"
"I'm with child." (that one cracks me up every time.)
It’s fitting that I just recently watched that movie since here I am trying to figure out how to tell you some very important news.

Okay.
I’m not going to beat around the bush, I promise.
Here it is.
I quit Tim Hortons.
I am no longer an employee at the coffee shop.
I am unemployed..for now.

It’s quite a shock not being a Timmies slave anymore.
Heck, I’ve been there one and a half months shy of four years!
You get used to and accustomed to things in four years.

It’s the night before my last shift I started freaking out just thinking all this through in my head and I knew I wasn’t going to sleep but 30 seconds into my freak out session a friend texted me and told me to have a good day on my last shift. And I don’t know if that is going to stop my freak mood. But, it helped me to realize that it’s gonna be okay. Even if I do have a two month holiday. Although I really hope I don’t.

Ahem. This blog will be all over the place cause it was written on different days.
So. I have quit Tim Hortons. My last day was Saturday.
I tried to keep it a secret..I don’t really know why..for dramatic effect? I’m not too sure.

Saturday was so much fun..and then so much sad.
The entire day on the whole was amazing...but then. At 1:30 my friend Danika who I work with came in with flowers..and we hugged and cried..and hugged some more..and just had a sob fest there for a while.
But then the worst was over and I was okay for the rest of it.

I am sad to be leaving, but also very happy. My time to be there is over and I am not looking back.
I have so many memories. And it’s going to be very hard these first couple of months cause it has been a huge part of my life. And I have so many friends that work there.

1 ½ months away from being 4 years. CRAZY! Who ever thought I was going to be there for so long. I would never have imagined. And as I told a group of my regulars, it’s a good thing I got out now or else I might be stuck there for the rest of my life.

But yeah. I as of now do not have a job. But I’m okay with that. I applied at a couple places but for the next week..maybe weeks, I’m going to relax and have some vacation.

M.L.M

This one makes me smile.
So at camp we are supposed to send letters or notes to eachother during the summer,j just to encourage and make everybody feel good cause they are getting mail..
Anyway so in the craft we have like 3 huge boxes of cards. Cards for every occasion. I guess a store was closing down or something and rather than throwing all the cards out they donated them to the camp.
And we have never really found a way to use them as crafts so the only thing they get used for is staff..
This is the one I got.
It's sort of an inside joke..but I have this doll baby beans and I take him to camp every year..and sometimes just carry him around with me..pretending he's my baby..okay...enough info for you =).

I'll pick you up at 8. We'll go on a date.

Did I tell you I did internet shopping last week?
I did.
And Amazon has emailed me saying that is on it's way.
Excited.

On a day like today, when work was amazing and you had the time of your life, all you can do is pour yourself a glass of sparkling apple-grape juice and cook yourself a wonderful steak dinner complete with mashed potatos, fresh rolls and mini carrots just picked from the garden.

Since you don't want the fun to stop you decide to bake chocolate chip cookies. This is the first time you have baked for a considerable time.
Since you are a nice kind caring person you give your still-warm-from-the-oven cookies to the neighbours next door that you have never even spoken to.

Of course the show must go on. This is your comfy Friday night at home, you decide to watch a new release dvd that you rented from the Video store that you go so often they consider you a friend. It's a nice light romance comedy and the perfect way to end off a grade A day.

P.s. This is the first time you have ever had to cook the steak by yourself before.
But you figured you can't go wrong since some people like to eat them pretty much pure red.
P.p.s You downed the entire bottle of 'vino' by yourself. Somebody is going to be sleeping well tonight.
P.p.p.s You are getting scared for your social life because these days the idea of hanging out with people sounds like a chore and you would rather just do everything by yourself.
p.p.p.p.s Oh, by the way you think that visiting the grocery store is fascinating and it should really be considered an attraction.

Okay yes, this was all actually my life today but I phrased one of my sentences at 'you' and after that I just couldn't stop.

I went dancing in the rain at work today. THREE TIMES.
Yeah, that's how much we slack at my job :).
But it was so much fun.

It's true we make a better day, just you and me.

I had a alot of fun at work today.
This past week has been one of my faves.

I found my camera cord.
Proof:

CD of the week:
Begin To Hope- Regina Spektor

Bonus CD:(Since I am going to see Hedley in September I need to make sure I am familiar with all of their music, so I reviewing.)
Hedley(Self Titled)

I'm extremely tired and nothing to do anyway so I am just going to clean my room and then make it an early night by going to bed at 9(!).

It's raining really hard outside. Maybe I'll go stand out there for awhile.

Goodnight.

Thoughts of the day.

I love hanging out with my family.

To give it actually wayy more fun than to receive.

I'm doing the shirt challenge. I've started and I will force myself to finish.

I have a wall-e friend. Some child left their wall-e toy at work the other day and Julie said I could keep it.

In the months that I have owned a certain sweater of mine I have never washed it.
Disgusting thought? Yes. Is it still fuzzy and soft on the inside? Yes.
And before this last week it even looked nice still, until I got blueberry icecream smeared on the front.

I bought this water bottle. It's awesome. Disney fairies.
The camera cord is still MIA or else I would have a picture for you.

I have a problem. I am a compulsive...greeting card addict.
I buy them all the time. It doesn't really matter what type it is, whether a birthday, get well, anniversary. As long as it strikes my fancy I buy it.

I'm here, and happy.
and that is sufficient enough for me today.

Things that need to be said.

I feel a sickness coming on. Right now it's in the back of my nose/throat area. And it's making me feel terrible.

I got so much sleep this weekend, which contradicts my first statement. But somehow both have and are happening.

I have gone and lost my camera cord AGAIN! But when I find it I will entertain you with sweet pictures of the beautiful Shuswap.

It is my brothers birthday today.

TILT On time. Weird.

1. My New pink lanyard with Dora and 'adorable' all over it.
2. Having all the time in the world to just go through humongous stores like walmart and Zellars.
3. Dates at McDonalds with 'the hottest boy'.
4.Being responsible for things. Most of the time.
5.Nachos
6.1-9 shifts. I thought it was going to be horrible but it turned out to be awesome. I guess cause of the people that were working.
7. With me- Sum 41
8. Getting things done that I have been procrastinating FOREVER! (example: replying to a letter my penpal sent..two years ago, now you can appreciate it when it takes me a couple weeks k?)
9. The thrill of buying things online and then receiving them in the mail.
10. Heck, the excitement of waiting for anything in the mail.
11. Continuing on this mail thread: The happiness you get when you receive something in the mail and you weren't even expecting it.

I have so many things running through my brain I can't think.
Ever get that?
It's late, I'm tired, I have to work tomorrow.
But the satisfaction of getting everything done is keeping me up.
Oh well, I've done enough for tonight.
My legs are starting to get those pains from when they are too tired to go any further.

Hey, Hey guess what?

Everybody knows the popular song "Love Song" By Sara Bareilles.
A catchy tune that is very piano based.
Well, she was one of those one hit wonders, it seems.
Several years later and nothing new that anybody knows of.

Back when that song came out I bought the CD, since that was back in my actually buying cd's mood. I might have listened to it once and written it off as boring. But I recently started going through all my cd's again and this one came up and I absolutely adore it.
A lot of her songs remind me of Regina Spektor.

This song I have here for your listening pleasure is very slow and sad but don't be fooled, most of her stuff is upbeat. All of it keeping with the piano theme.

She has a new cd coming out in September and I cannot wait to buy it.

Oh anddd just so you know..
No big deal or anything..
Amazing really. I can't believe that I am still at this.

A good day.

Starting the day off right with an episode of Fringe.

And even coffee and a bagel AT HOME!

Got ready.
Went to Starbucks.
did other things.

Zellars. This store is my FAV. right now.
So much fun.
So many good deals.

Went to 'Eat, Pray, Love.'
Seriously this was such a boring movie.
And super long.
And the popcorn made my tummy sick.

Visited Grandparents.

Fake shopped with Danika.

Ate at Earls with Danika, Shane and Kandace.

Played board games and ate cheesecake at timmies with the same lovely bunch.

Very fun.

Now to bed.
:(

Early morning tomorrow.

Memory Lane Monday

My new feature.

The reason for it?
None.
Just kidding.

I was going through all my boxes of junk the other day, trying to pair down on everything for the 30 billionth time and I asked myself the question that I ask myself every time. "Why do I keep all this stuff?"

Well, I keep it cause I cannot bare giving/throwing away some of these things since they have to much meaning or memories to them. Even though I never think abotu any of it unless I am going through the boxes. Crazy me.

So reasons:
1.A way to showcase all the things I think are worth keeping.
2.Maybe, somehow you can get to know me better through this.(Unless you are some creepy stalker, I would prefer you didn't get to know me.)
3.You can laugh at all the junk I like to think is special.

So, let's begin.
Oh ps, I'm probably only going to do one picture a week, cause this is meant to be a simple short thing and I don't want to run out of things in the first two weeks.

All the paper cranes my duckling as ever made for me.
Some of them are white and if you look closely enough you can tell they are welcome cards from church.
And some even have notes on them.
Aw. Ain't that sweet.
Just wanted you to know that I thought they were special enough to keep.
They spent the first couple years on my desk.

Expresso Shot Saturday!

Oh my, Today was such a good day at work.
We were all really tired so me and Rylee decided to do an expresso shot every hour from 8-12. It was amazing.

8:00- Straight up
9:00- 50%/50% with French Vanilla Cappuccino
10:00-Triple/Triple
11:00-Triple/Triple, Iced with Hazelnut flavour shot.

It was really hard to tell if the expresso was working cause me and Rylee together are always crazy anyway. You should see us..half the time our manager starts screaming at us cause we feed off eachother and bounce around and start shouting and all that good stuff.

But yeah today was a lot of fun.
I bossed people around like the entire time. Which, is a good thing and a bad thing.
I like that my manager lets me be in charge but then sometimes it's not fun just cause I feel like I have to take care of so much stuff, and I feel like it's my fault when things don't get done..and sometimes ordering people around just plain doesn't feel good.

But, I learned how to do some supervisor things, even though I'm not going to be a supervisor...and yeah, GREAT DAY!

The other day this flower delivery man walked in with this huge bouquet of flowers and me and rylee raced over to see who they were for..
They were for all the staff from one of our truck driver regulars. It was so cute.

Okay, That's all I have to say for the moment. Now off to enjoy what is left of the weekend.

Sometimes..

As all of you know, or should know.
I usually have a hate relationship with chocolate.

But even I can be willing to accept the milky cocoa goodness when it presents itself to me as a fresh hot from the oven brownie with vanilla icecream to go with it.

Updates:
I missed my special Monday blog, and unlike Tilt which I have been doing whenever this new one has a specification and that is that it HAS to be on Monday. Hopefully I'll get er done next week.
I actually started forming my Jamaica post in my head today so that should be coming along shortly. Bout time.
I plugged in my programmable coffee maker tonight, Pretty excited about waking up to fresh coffee tomorrow morning. I'm just prepping myself really, in about a month I'll be able to tell you.

Anatidaephobia is the fear that somewhere in the world, there is a duck watching you.

Women speak about 7000 words a day. The average man averages just over 2000.

When a person is tickled, the response is actually a form of panic, as the brain interprets the tickling sensation as produced by spiders or other creepy crawlies on your skin - the uncontrollable laughter is a response to panic.

Yawning is contagious - even thinking about yawning is enough. After reading this fact, there is a 50% chance you will yawn.

Research shows that 11-week-old fetuses yawn. Yawns become contagious to people between the first and second years of life. When one person in a group yawns, over half of the people in the group will yawn within 5 minutes, and the rest will at least be tempted to yawn. Even animals yawn when they see another animal yawn. The average duration of a yawn is about 6 seconds, and guys yawn for longer than girls.

Oysters can change genders back and forth.

At exactly 06 minutes and 07 seconds after 5 o'clock on August 9th of this year it will be 05:06:07 08/09/10. This will not happen again until the year 3010

Thursday, August 5, 2010

Being the genius that I am I have too special exciting events coming up.
One *should* happen Monday, I say that with a bit of speculation only because my memory has never been great and it will be a 50/50 chance that I forget about it completely.

The next..should happen in the next couple days with the way I am going.

Mmmm, Value Village. My favorite.

Of course the library and value village go hand in hand. How could they not when they are both so resistible and conveniently side by side.

This was a first for me. Cobb's Bread. It tasted good. It was a healthy alternative for lunch, and it was under $4!

Of course saving the best for last. Highly expensive but i will admit it tasted really good.

I finally finished my organizing at the Church. Well, I say finished but there is really a hundred other things I could do with it. I just had to make myself a stopping point somewhere.

And there is my day in a nutshell.

Getting things done Thursday.

CLICK ME

It's my day off.
And I am determined to make it fun and exciting.
Well, if not those things at least productive and busy.
Cause even though I always complain about being really busy..
My brain and body do not know how to function in any other way.

So here I go. Hopefully I have some unique experiences along the way.

Photos.

FYI: I actually detest it when people shorten pictures into 'pix' or 'pics'.

Flowers make me happy. Who says you need a special reason to buy them? Cause they are totally wrong!

My fishy is changing colours. He started all white, then got some reds and orange, and now there is some blue appearing. I'm thinking it must be normal, but we still don't know what type if fish he is so we can't find out.
We just celebrated our 13 week anniversary this past Saturday.

I am the queen of making fun for myself.
So, this night I invited my brother(who is a little uptight sometimes) along for the ride.
We went and saw a movie. Not together of course. That would be weird =). I saw 'Ramona and Beezuz'. Holy, that was a good movie. I could probably even watch it again in theatres. But I won't.
He saw 'Despicable Me'. Wild horses couldn't drag me to that movie. Trust me, one already tried.
After I dragged him to Walmart got some Taylor Swift and some really nasty candies(pictured above *they were called Snerdles how could I resist?*) and made him sing all the way home. Well, he was singing..I was..yelling.
And now I believe I can say I am recovered from a really really bad day at work.
Thanks for tuning in, it's time for me to get lots of sleep.

Because I'm weird like that..

1. I can't wear the same socks twice. Ew. Always fresh ones for me.
2. I go for dinner and movies by myself. And don't think much of it.
3.Every night I set my alarm and then check it multiple times. But I don't stop there, every time I check it I mentally go through my morning schedule to make sure I will have enough time. The funny thing is, I do everything the exact same every morning and it always takes relatively the same amount of time, but my brain doesn't trust itself I guess.
4. I love butter tarts but hate raisins. So I fork them into my mouth suck on them and then spit them out.
5. I love trying out new things, specially food type things. It brings me much joy to find something I've never tried before and buy it just to see what it's like. Half the time it turns out being disgusting, but it held me in suspense for awhile.
6. I am a free spirit. And for the most part I can just laugh when people think I am strange for doing things and acting the way I do.
7. I have a love for ugly. Which is pretty much the reason I chose the blackmoor goldfish and one day I will have a pug to call my very own.
8. I get very annoyed/upset when people judge on some accounts. So I try to go out of my way to prove them wrong. Maybe I'm explaining this a little wrong.
A lot of people think I'm not very physical and are very surprised when I do something like play hockey or keep up with the group when we go for a hike.
What they should know is I love doing those things. And maybe I'm not very good at them but that's only cause I've had bad experiences so I've stopped trying. I love playing hockey. And it makes me extremely happy when I actually get the ball and pass it to the right person..but half the reason I hold back is cause of the negative I get when I pass it to the wrong person.
9.I have a dress/shoe fetish. I might have told you about this before. I love love love buying new shoes and dresses. But the problem is..whenever I go to wear this I decide that they aren't appropriate for the situation and it would be easier to wear something else. Sad, very sad.
10. I have this..nasty addiction. I've decided to come clean about it.
I hoard food.
There it's out.
I know you are all judging me now.
Let me explain :D.
I like to buy myself extra food..cause really, sometimes I want something other than cheese and apples to snack on in a day. Then I put it in my closet. and usually I never eat it..and it has been building up in there for a while.
I'm gonna pawn some of it off on suspecting characters though..
Actually I already have =).

For every high...there is a low.

Have I ever mentioned..

That I love my pseudo family?
They are pretty amazing.

RECAP:
Today was the best day off I've had in months.

I had Starbucks AND McDonalds for breakfast. Win right there.
I took pictures, and sorted music. Cause that's what I do for fun.
I went out of the box and sat in a different section of church.

I illegally rode in the back of a truck.
I saw Kelsey and Steve's new place.
I had lunch with cool people and..
Tried the new cobb salad from Wendy's.
Btw it was so good.

I photo shot myself and watch two episodes of the sweet new show I'm into..
HARPERS ISLAND

I got gas.
Like car gas..for my car.

I hung out with 4 of the most awesomesauce people ever!
The Baerg family is my favorite.

We made gluten free cinnamon buns that took forever..and we had to substitute a ton of stuff..and the oven caught on fire...But they turned out great. Almost tasted as good as normal ones.

Oh, we used the interesting cookbook that Jill gave as a bridal shower present..I din't know if it's bad luck to use presents before the wedding but at least you know it's a good one eh?
It was so very interesting with all the information about different flours and starches and such. We spent a great deal of time reading it.

And we discussed bridesmaid dresses and picked out the recessional song for the wedding.
FUN TIMES.
I laughed way too much.
And we danced way too much too.

It has been so long since I was a Baerg I forgot how much fun it was.
I will not wait 6 months before the next time.

When I'm up I can't get down.

Do you ever have those moments when you think about either a friend or a family member and your love for them overtakes you for a moment and it's hard to breathe?

Okay..maybe I'm the only crazy one like that.

Anyway.
I love procrastination.
I was going to do a blog post about Jamaica..but the bigness of the project scares me so I will put it off awhile longer.

___________________________________________________________________________________

1.

2. Fringe is my latest tv show conquest. I am loving Walter Bishop and tin foil hats.

3.Great Big Sea is live in Kamloops on Saturday! This excites me to the very point of running around the yard doing little happy laughs. This is a band that I pretty much grew up on. Them, Enya and Switchfoot pretty much made up my music tastes.
Hopefully when I go to buy tickets tomorrow they will still have some left.
They have been going for 18 years. Crazy.

4. In theatres, at this very moment there is a movie called 'Ramona and Beezuz'. I am very tempted to go watch it. Although it might ruin the fond memories that I have developed for the Beverly Cleary book. And Selena Gomez is in it. Blech. Josh Duhamel on the other hand... :D

5.My fish is still alive and still kicking but it seems in all the rush of packing before Jamaica I totally forgot about my ivy and it is looking a little..droopy. Hopefully i can revive. I'll start by a nice drink and nice trip to the dark cool basement(I fear that half the reason why he's so sick is because of all the heat.)

*Jamaica*

"Left side is right side,
Right side is suicide."

They drive on the left side here. So, don't expect us to be renting a car and driving ourselves to any of the attractions. And the driving in general is very intense.
Just a tiny bit more civilized than Haiti. Which means, rather than total chaos there are a couple stop lights here and there.

I have a major sunburn already. But that's okay because the tan will be worth it.
It hurts for now though.

Today was an intense climb up a waterfall.
Yeah I know. My mother, climbed a waterfall.
I'm still in shock.

Anyways. There is just a little update on my trip.
Oh, and I found my dream man but I couldn't understand his name because of his Jamaican accent :).

We'll have fun, fun, fun.

I am typing this with very tired fingers and my eyelids are drooping but, for some reason I don't want to go to bed yet.

This morning I woke up at 5:45. Who does that?
But it was actually good cause I wasn't really that tired even though I have every right to be.

I took my time getting ready and was at the church by 6:40.
Where, I didn't really do anything I planned to do but everything came together nice anyway.

*Sidenote* I have spent about 13 hours in that my church this week.
I like to take up projects that turn out to be huge time consumers, but I've been having fun while doing it so it's all good.

Church was good.
I came home after and puttered around for a bit.
Spent some time with my feet in the creek while eating delicious strawberry icecream.
I even did some mending! I am starting to like this slow Sundays that I don't have to do anything.

Oh and I slept. It felt good.

And the rest of the day from four on was hanging out with C&C at the Coulters house.
So all in all, one of the best days I have had in the past month.
Go me! haha.

I do have something that has been ticking me off that I wanted to blog about. But, since this is such a happy post I won't ruin. Next time..

I am in love.

With my new under armor tank top.

I hate hot.

Very tired.
I have declared tomorrow SLEEP DAY!
Which means about two hours after I get home from work I'm going to sleep and I'm not waking up til the next morning.
That might seem really bad but I have 9 days in a row that I have to get up by 6:30 or earlier..so I really need to rest up my body.
So..there.

Monday, July 5, 2010

I woke up at five.
Half way through getting ready I realized I didn't work 'til 7:30.
Fail.
But I went back to bed at least.
Still.
I am kicking myself for not double checking the night before.

Saturday, July 3, 2010

Just a lil' update.

So.
Summer Goals.
I still don't want to ruin the surprise/ don't want to tell you all and in the end have to admit that I failed, so I will just give a point form on how they are coming. And I will leave all details out. I just want to make sure you know I am not skipping out on these. I take them very seriously.

Oh, and..well in the beginning I was counting June as summer but that was pretty much a flop. So..I PROMISE I will go hard on the actual months of summer. Completing all of my goals is actually making me very excited.

So without further ado:

1. Well, It's harder to get into it. I thought it would be easy..but I am making baby steps toward the goal.
2. Haha, this one is the only I can be sure will be completed by the end of this. Unless something really drastic happens.
3.From the beginning I knew this was going to be a tough one. And I not really motivated. But..now that I spend alot of time alone I might actually start trying.
But..the future of this one looks dim. Not to say that I am giving up..just not trying as hard as some of the other ones.
4. Well, this one is shooting for the moon. But at least I'll be that much closer than I previously was. I purchased the supplies for it today so I'm good to go. Now actually getting the motivation will be the next hurdle.

anyway. So I know that didn't make alot of sense. more of just a personal journal to myself I guess. Once the goals are out in the open you can look back and the foggy parts might be a little bit clearer...
But good night, Readers!
Off to Put 4 into practice, procrastinate 3 & 1 and dream of 2.

Tuesday, June 29, 2010

I completed this puzzle all by myself! A whole 1000 pieces.
I would have gotten it done in the first couple days if it had not been for those boring patches of all green. I can never make myself sit there and try and fit one piece into 20 different spaces. But I finally hunkered down last night and this morning and it looked so good all finished up. I will have to buy myself a new one later this week.

Now, this next picture is a bit of a puzzle in itself. Let me draw your attention to the black box on the wall. Yes, that one with the little man and starbucks cup in it.
So, on top of that box can you make out the glass jar-ish type thing?
The other morning I woke up. And it was on my bedside table.
It was quite the mystery.
I don't know how it got down. Somewhere amidst my dreams I must have woken up and taken it down from its high resting place. But there is no part of me that remembers this.
WEIRD.

Mmm, I think that is it for my exciting life as of late.
You know my life is going great when my updates are of puzzles.

*Sigh* The sunset was amazing tonight.

I had a good day too.

We all scream for ICECREAM!

Yay!
Coldstone Creamery from the States is partnering with Tim Hortons of Canada and together we make beautiful coffee ice cream.
That's a lie.
Well, we do make coffee ice cream but it has nothing to do with Tim Hortons. Trust me, I make it myself.

Yes, I am now a certified coldstone creamery employee. So good at my job in fact that they gave me a little pin. These pins are only rewarded to one person at every store.
That's how amazing I am.

I know how to make ice cream. And Ice cream cakes, Waffles bowls, waffle cones, cupcakes, Icecream sandwiches and on top of all that I know how to sing songs while doing it.

Ugh yes. We sing while we make your icecream. Doesn't that just make you want to stop in for a bowl right away?

Anyway. The good in this is we get new uniforms. Not that the old ones were bad, I actually liked them alot. These are just new, and different.

Can you say Spontaneous?

So, remember when I told you I had that list of summer goals?
One of those goals was to travel somewhere outside of Canada this summer.
Now I could have been lame and just walked across the border but, that would be lame.
So. I decided to make it a bit more exciting.

I wanted to go on a cruise. Cause really, I don't care where I'm going as long as I get to relax and there is plenty of sun. And a cruise is way better since you get to several different places instead of just being stuck in one place.

When I had originally told my mom my plan of going somewhere she thought that it would never happen so she agreed to go with me. Silly mother.
But being the research nerd that she is *:)* she started looking for possibilities.
And one night while discussing different options we started comparing an all inclusive resort to a cruise. And let's just say..we found a sweet little resort 20 minutes from Montego Bay and...exactly 3 weeks, 11 hours and 30 minutes from now we will be flying out to Jamaica for a week.

It's really soon. Haha, and I'm sort of just realizing that now. But in order to work with our schedules and other things it was now or..September..and I didn't want to wait that long :).

I am pretty darn excited.

Of course as I was laying in bed thinking about it today I realized that we are leaving all the boys to fend for themselves for awhile. I wonder how that is going to go.

Anyway, I am going to go load my ipod with a little Bob Marley to prep myself for the trip

P.s. At least I know I will have one thing to cross off of my summer list.

I have become so..routine. It disgusts me. :)

Okay, well not disgusts but a word similar to that.

I have always been so spontaneous and undecided, leaving it to the last minute and all that good stuffed mixed into one little girl.
But in the past little while I have settle into a little routine.
Not quite sure if I like it yet. But for the time being it works.

Some things that are different:
I never hit the snooze button anymore. I have a schedule to keep and my body know that so it is willing to get up right away.

I clean my room all the time. Rarely is it ever messy anymore. I straighten up usually right before bed. And I set out everything I need for the next day. In exactly the place I need it to be in.

My fish is still alive. I know that one doesn't really going along with everything else..But hey, it's a miracle.
I clean his tank frequently and feed him at least 2 times a day..so here we are 7 weeks later..he is still alive and I am so proud of myself.
I'm thinking if I can keep him for 6 months I will be ready for the next step. Which you do not get to know yet.

Anywayyyyyyyys.

Yes. Hannah is unsure of this new her. The one that has summer goals and actually is moving the next step to complete them. The one that has a 2 year plan. CRAZY!
But there is nothing else more exciting at the moment so she will keep it up and hopefully it will shape her into a better person.

Confession #3.

OH MY GOODNESS!

I never knew my mother was this bad.
This is inconceivable!

I can't get over this.

MY MOM DOESN'T KNOW WHO BOB MARLEY IS!

I am in shock.

This time it was a deer.

On the way home there was a beach ball on the side of the road. I stopped. U-turned. And went after it. But it had disappeared.
DEPRESSED!

Yesterday I felt terrible on the drive home. I cried for like 15 minutes. Which isn't that good when you are driving..cause unlike a car I don't have eye wipers.

My store closed for renovations today.

Sorry that my posts are so all over the place lately. But, really..I'm not sorry. Caause I've been all over the place and this thing is just really a reflection of me.

I painted my toes awhile ago. They go Orange, Orange, Orange, Orange, GREEN. And then Orange, Orange, Orange, Orange, GREEN.

And now people keep asking me why.
WHY NOT!?
Why does anybody paint their toenails..I have no clue really. But anyways. So why am I not allowed to paint mine like this even though it seems a little strange.

I have a confession. I love it when my photographer friends take pictures of me cause I know they will look beautiful.

There is this song I want to do a cover of. And so i was 'practicing' it on the way home tonight. But really I was just shouting it at the top of my lungs. It was fun.So I did it two more times. My throat is now a little sore.. But hey, sometimes you just need to make a fool of yourself when you know no one will see or hear you.

Yay. It's my day off tomorrow.

My brother and I passed each other half way between Vernon and home. We waved.

Last summer there was a huge fire in Westbank.

I've decided I like roadtrips when I am driving. Preferably alone.

When you get a cut in the back of your throat it feels like you have a sore throat. This puts you in a false panic cause you start thinking maybe you are sick. Which is bad when you have to wake up at five the next morning.

There were sheep.

I can't move my face. It's like when you get Botox.

I recommend face masks for everybody. They make your skin sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo soft.

I lefft my crocs in the car. Apparently one of them got too hot. And shrunk. Who knew that things like this could happen.
those crocs are prretty much my life.
So..I have to find a new pair.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I really need a drink. Of water that is.
Okay enough for today.

I ♥ Sleep.

Cause I can be like that sometimes.

Yesterday it rained so much.
Too much.

Before December '09 I would have loved this but now that I have to drive in it..ick, rain is sometimes my least favorite thing.
Especially since my tires are terrible and it feels like I'm slipping off the road all the time.
ANYWAY.

So. There was huge puddles everywhere last night.
But.
There was a lake in the parking lot of the Valleyview McDonalds.

And even though it was late, dark, my food was getting cold and people were looking at me strange..I went wading in it.

Haha, I wanted to see how deep it really got and the bottom of my pants were soaked anyways.
I felt ridiculous.
But it was quite enjoyable.
And alot deeper than I had estimated it to be.

At least 5" deep. Crazy. I know.
