Make way for 2010, Baby.

Sometimes I just don't want to blog k?

But I figured that I should come on here one last time seeing as I probably won't have time tomorrow and it would be sad not to have one more post in this year of 2009.

So Happy New Year!
I haven't decided on any resolutions.
I'll get back to you on that one when I have thought some up. IF I think some up. And that is a very big IF.

I just searched my blog from last year and apparently I didn't make any then either. And I turned out okay so I think I should be fine.

So yes. This is all you get for now, people.

Happy Birthday Mom!

It's like rain on your wedding day.

On Monday I worked 8 hours and when my mother picked me up we went shopping for another 2 1/2 hours. I was tired. And I just wanted to go home.

But on the way home, mom stopped to pick up the mail. I said she should just leave it and keep going cause there was nothing for me and that's all that mattered.

She replied that maybe there was something for me and wasn't it better to get mail when you weren't expecting it.

A couple hours later when my mom finally went through the mail she found something for me.
It was my new drivers license.

Ironic?

I have a confession..

Well, actually, my mother has a confession but she won't confess it so maybe if I blog about it she will admit she has a problem and deal with it.

My mother buys waaaayyyyy too much meat. Okay, so it's not actually that she buys too much I guess. She just buys meat and sticks it in the freezer and never uses it.
This annoys me because it is always me who tries to clean the freezer and I can never clean and organize it much because of all her meat.

Of course her response when she finds out about this post will probably be that I should use it and make dinner myself if I have a problem with it. Hmm, let's hope she doesn't read this.

But I am making it easy on her. I have recorded all the meat we have, and am typing it up into a neat list. Probably alphabetically. So now all she will have to do is look at that list and decide what to make rather than rooting through the freezer and then giving up and buying more from the grocery store.

Among the normal ground beef and 5-10 Kg. Turkeys(Normal in our house I guess :) we also have some rather foreign items such as:

1 whole grocery bag of unidentified fish things. (This is from when my dad when fishing..like a year and a half ago. Mussels and stuff? I don't really know.)
Beef liver.
Turkey necks.
Lamb shanks
Steaks? (I say that with a question mark..cause I wasn't really sure what it was..some sort of meatish stuff that was sort of in the normal shape of a steak.)
Keilbassa Sausages
Mild italian sausage rounds.(These actually look really good. Like sausage burgers.)
Home Smoked Salmon.

I like meat. I do. I love it actually. I love it enough to find some random reason why I could blog about it, apparently.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

For the past week-ish I keep buying the 'final' present. And then remembering that I have to get this..or that.
So today after hanging out with some friends I decided rather that just going home because I was tired I would just go finish it all. So.
I felt very good on the drive home.
Then I got home.
And remembered something else I was supposed to get.
I'm not a very happy camper right now.
And just wait, something else is going to come up.
Great.
I heart Christmas.(Sarcasm, people. Just in case you didn't understand.)

But actually.
I used to.
Well, I used to be very excited about decorating and buying presents and all that.
But this year..with the presents it's been a "Oh just buy everything as soon as I can so I don't have to think about that any more than I have to.." And for decorating. Well, that excitement is non existant. The past couple of years I have been dragging the boxes of decorations out late november and begging my mother to get a tree really early. This year I want nothing to do with it. And the second picture is my idea of what our tree should be this year.

Oh well, All but..2(?) Presents are now bought and wrapped. And the last two. Well, nobody will die if I don't buy those presents. So maybe.. they will be forgotten.

Out with the old, in with the new.

In this case a New Driver sign posted on the back of the van.
Yes, you read right. I now have my 'N'.
Soooo excited right now..I have been screaming all morning. Just ask my mother.

But let's back up the story.

"11:42 pm The night previous.
Well, Hannah likes to clean when she is freaking out.
Okay. So maybe she is freaking out because she lost an important document that she needs for the next day and maybe the only reason she is cleaning is to find that paper..but still..it seems strange.
I'm dead tired.
Good night and hopefully I will get enough sleep to be alert tomorrow."

So I found the paper. I got everything ready.
I slept in the next morning just cause I was tossing and turning all night and I still felt like death.
But, I met my driving instructor at 7:45 we had a lesson and practised a couple things then went up the hill.
Not going to lie, I was really confident. Maybe bordering on too confident but oh well, I passed so who cares :).
I had a really nice lady for the test. We chatted the whole time and I felt really comfortable.
There was only two things that I got a bad mark for and those things were really small..Soo..I'm feeling really good right now.

I have already driven by myself..and..IT FELT SO GOOD.
Haha. I am allowing myself to be excited for today, but after that the screaming and smiling constantly will have to go.

Now I just need to get as much driving in as I can before the snow comes and I won't want to drive anymore.

Just Another Manic Monday.

Blah.
My head aches and I'm going to go watch a movie but I knew if I did not blog after a week of silence bad things might happen to me.
I cleaned my room yesterday.
Cleaned my phone yesterday and today.
Started my christmas shopping and planning today.
I feel good.
Goodnight.

Hairdressing school here I come!

K, I admit..I only did half of it..and then my mother took over..But I totally did the half that matters :).

3 Times!

I think I am having selective busyness. No, that is not an actual thing. I just made it up.

But seriously. I am really busy when I need an excuse for not doing some of the things I'm supposed to be doing, but on the other hand I always seem to have time to watch my shows and have naps just because. Well, the naps are a good thing..but maybe not the tv shows.

So, sometimes if I say I am too busy you should ask me to reconsider that..
Although, sometimes I actually am THAT busy.
Take yesterday for an example.

I went into town three times. Yes it makes me cringe just to think about it.
Once for work.
A second time for guitar lesson.
And a Third time for Worship Practise.

:(.
But in between one of those trips I did have time to watch "My Sisters Keeper".
Which was..well, not really what I expected but it was sad and it made me cry. Which I was expecting.

Anyway, here is just another post trying to cover up my laziness with excuses. :).

I'm alive.

Just don't really have anything of interest to blog about right now.
Of course, usually I wouldn't let such a thing as that stop me. But..I don't know. Maybe my new 17 year old self is different.

TILT?

Well, How ironic is it that the one Thursday that I actually remember is the one Thursday that I cannot seem to think of anything I love.
JUST KIDDING!
But honestly it is very hard.

I was talking to someone the other day and they asked what type of mood I get in when I am sick. I didn't really have an answer cause I didn't think I had a different sort of mood. After two days being sick now I figure out that BOY, WAS I WRONG!

Yesterday was fever and headaches. I felt:Mad, annoyed with anybody that tried to talk to me, annoyed with everything really, and I hated the world.

Today is chills. I feel: Very, very emotional, like crying for no reason, and just really sad. Tiny little problems seems so much bigger. I think of all the stuff that I should be doing or should have started a long time ago and feel terrible for not having done them.

Anyways. Happy things.

Things I love:

*EDIT* Okay. I have found two things that make me immensely happy. The first thing happened after this post so you can't get mad at me for not writing about it.
The second..well. Remember I have been dizzy? I cannot think straight when I am like this so it's really not my fault.
1. My amazing manager Julie! Haha, no I am not joking. I phoned her today saying that I was sick and I couldn't make it tomorrow. After that she texts me back saying she took me off all my shifts for the next week! She thought I would be mad (and well, I probably will be when I get my paycheck next week :) but right now I am just happy. Although feeling alot guilty because I've never had to call in sick before. But I'm sure I will get over that reeaal quick.
2.My green blanket that I got for my birthday. I have not woken up in the night since I started using it. Which is quite amazing since I used to 3 times at least.
And it is especially nice today because I've had chills constantly and it's kept me really warm.

TICT
Things I crave Thursday.

1. Tostito Chips.
2. Oreo cake
3. Actually wanting to go out and do some exercise.
4. Feeling better.
That's pretty much it.
Night all. I'm going to go sleep away my sickness.

The Weekend.

So, Hmmm. Do you want minute by minute replay?

My bus left Friday morning 8:25 a.m.
We got there like half an hour early though, cause we're paranoid like that. Speaking of paranoid, my mother spent most of that half hour giving me great advice like 'Don't take candy from strangers'. Apparently I didn't learn this lesson well enough when I was 3.

The bus trip was very uneventful. It was weird, later everybody kept asking me how the bus ride was..I got annoyed because why would it be anything other than boring and why do you guys keep asking me dumb questions :).

Although..there was an accident on the highway and our driver told us we were going to have to take a detour which would make us an about an hour late but the highway opened again and so we were just delayed like 15 minutes.

Mmm, got there..met up with everybody. Drove to Peachland to my favoritest bakery/coffee shop ever and ate bread. Well, everybody else ate bread. I looked at a wedding magazine. It had so much information. I'm sad that I didn't take it with me.

We went back to Kelowna then, and waited at the mall for a while. I don't really know what we were doing there. Haha, just sitting..And I ate a delicious cinnamon bun and everybody was getting mad at me cause that was the only thing I had eaten so far that day.

Went to Steves house..did some more sitting. Drove to Brandons..I fell asleep on the way. I was so tired. We ate burgers there..and played catch phrase. And just hung out for a while.

Then Jordan drove me and KP back to Cassandras house where we slept..or I tried to sleep :).

In the morning..I didn't want to get out of bed. It was so comfortable..so I waited until the last possible moment..and I sacrificed wearing makeup for that extra sleep. Totally worth it.

We walked up to Jordans house..and had tea and talked. It was probably my most favorite part of the weekend. Just so random.

Then off to Steves where we had a huge breakfast..I ate four waffles. They were gigantic. And lots of bacon and ham. And I felt to gross after.

*BAM*
We went to the H2O Center. Imagine our tournament capital center pool thing..but like 500 times bigger..haha.
I don't want to have to explain it all so go to the virtual tour if you really want to know.

Then we went for Mcdonalds for supper and as everybody was getting into vehicles after that I quickly announced that I was leaving and it had been great seeing everybody. HAH, I hate goodbyes and that made it semi not awkward since they were like all in vehicles already. Then Jon dropped me off at the bus stop..I did walk back to the mall to pick something up and then to the grocery store to buy food but then I was off..and back in Kamloops 4 hours later.

But yeah. That's pretty much it for my weekend. It was good. Made me never want to something like that ever again though.. :) but I probably will.

Friday, October 23, 2009

I wrote this last night but blogger was down.

I *hatehatehate* packing.
Although, I am not actually that bad at it.

It's just the nerves of forgetting something and mentally preparing myself for a stressful trip all mixed together makes me procrastinate until the last second possible and then take forever doing it because when it comes to packing I am a perfectionist.

My list(Yes, I have a list. Step #1 to being an excellent packer) is titled(Haha, yes my list is titled.)

"Hannah's Overnight Packing list.
*Who knew one person needed so much stuff?*"

Along with the normal 'Toothbrush', 'PJ's' and 'Hoodie' you will find strange items such as 'Whistles', 'Fresh Supply of Tylenol' and 'Coffee to Go'.

Surprisingly enough even though my usual writing is the messiest thing you have ever seen, I pull it together to make my lists very tidy.
With neat check marks beside all the items already packed and the things that I need to put in tomorrow are highlighted in pink for an easy find while I am half asleep tomorrow.
Speaking of that, at the bottom of the list there is one last thing,
'1 Well-Rested, Beautiful Girl'. It is highlighted in pink with some extra green highlighter to show that this one is really important.
So I really should be off to bed.

I leave tomorrow morning for Kelowna. I will only be gone until late Saturday night but I am taking the Greyhound so you will probably want to pray for me :).
Hopefully I have fun and return unharmed. But then again, I do need some exciting blog material for when I get back :).

Have a fun weekend without me.

It was just one of those days.

Well, actually the first half of my day was awesome.

I went to the library for the first time in a month at least.
Got some books..checked out value village..it has been FOREVER since I was last in there.
I like the security dude. We talked. It was fun.

I went to my favorite place for lunch. Yumm. Yay, monopoly :).

Then we went for a visit at my gramas house. Also very fun and entertaining.

Then I drove up the hill to drop Noah off at climbing and me and Josh went for an adventure.
It was fun.

And that's all I really want to talk about. After that it just went downhill and I was having a terrible night until....

Somebody brought me flowers. :). And then I couldn't stop smiling.
The rest of my shift was alot better. And after I got home I read a note from a friend and it made me feel even better. And now not having to work for a week makes me feel great. And knowing KP is going to Kelowna and is not skipping out of me makes me feel fantastic.

I feel good. And I am going erase all the bad stuff from my memory and move on with life.

p.s. I listened to Smother Me- The Used for the first time after work today. I love it.

Monday, October 19, 2009

Things I love Monday.

1. Heart Shaped Chocolate Chip Pancakes smothered in Peanut Butter and Syrup.

2.Home Made Pumpkin Muffins.
3.Baking for the first time in a long time.

4.Photoshooting.
5.FALL!
6.A new Toque.

7. New episodes from my favorite shows.
8. Not having to work. Just doing random stuff at home.
9. Dancing around the kitchen to Taylor Swift. (You guys do not know how weird I am. Sean could tell you so many stories)
10. Drooling over yummy recipes on Kraft Canada

Things I don't love:
1. Remembering I had a take home quiz that I forgot to do on my two weeks off and then having to do it on the car drive over and feeling so rushed and panicked only to arrive and find out almost nobody had done it and it wasn't required.
2. Driving classes.
3. Worrying about the 'N' test.

Wednesday, October 14, 2009

A list.

1. French Press.
2.The cool green travel mug from Starbucks.(Ask Josh, Kandace or Alex)
3.Popsicles. (But a specific kind.)
4.Black Picture Frames(any kind) WITH pictures of you and me/you/my friends already in it.
5.You.
6.Either of the Taylor Swift Albums.
7. A Blackmoor Goldfish.
8. A stuffed cow from Ruckers.
9. A Hockey Stick. Like a good one. I don't expect any of you to buy this for me but if you would like to hint to one of my elder brothers I would be fine with that. Just make sure they remember that unlike them I need a right handed stick.

That's all for now.
If I think of something else I will just update this post.

400

Yes, I am very aware that this is my 4th post of the day, I just wanted to catch up on everything..and get to the 400th post mark!

With that being said, I will try to catch you up on my life.

Umm.

Work.

Haha, yeah that is the extent of my life right now it would seem.
Except the weird thing is I'm not working full time or anything so it should be such a big part, but it feels like it.

But since stories of work would probably just bore you I will keep that out of my blog.

So Tuesday I went for a driving lesson..and I did parallel parking for the first time. It was..scary. Well, maybe not really scary I just felt very unprepared and he didn't really explain what I was supposed to do. The first one failed. But the other two were actually really good and he said I did a great job especially since it was my first time.

Last night some of us went to the double feature Toy Story 1&2 in 3-D at the theatre. It was amazing. And I'm sorry for doubting myself. Everybody else thought it was going to be a bad idea..but NO It was AMAZING and I'm so happy I went. I had not seen those movies in so long and I totally forgotten most of it. And it was in 3-D so it makes it that much better cause you get to wear those hot glasses that makes everybody look attractive :).

OOOOO, on Saturday after work I went to the mall, It was the first time I had been there in a while. I got some stuff. And then I met up with Jess randomly and we went shopping togethere for a while. She 'convinced' me to buy some stuff that I would never usually consider but they are turning out to be not that bad. Pants, people.

Sunday was..going to Red Robins for the first(and maybe last :P) time..and the life chain.

Oooo yesterday I spent some time with two of my favorite people. It was fun, I always like hanging out with them. We just chilled..went to Starbucks, watched a movie.
I like doing stuff like that. Not too big..just nothing planned but it's fun cause it's with people I like.

Okay, enough blogging for one day.

23 DAYS, PEOPLE!

"But the hat looked good? Tell me the hat looked good."

*Warning* Some Nasty Pictures..

So, I don't remember if I blogged about this story but while at camp this summer I broke my toe. And also scraped it and it looked gross and it was bleeding..and eww. Haha, well, after that half the the nail turned black and I knew it was going to fall off, but the other half was still stuck on so it couldn't.

About three weeks ago I was so sick of looking at it all the time I decided it was time.
I clipped away the part of the nail that had come away from the skin. But then there was the whole front part that was still attached. So, I took a deep breath and ripped it off.

Now it looks..semi okay, I guess. But it has been three weeks and there is still no sign of the new nail coming in. And now I worry that it never will.

I'll keep you updated.

Just for a little change..

BEFORE:

AFTER:

It was kind of funny because a couple minutes before I started the whole procedure I looked at my hair and I realized how much I loved it being brown. But I dyed it anyway! Haha. The good news is it's not permanent. Not sure how long it will last. Like a month..if that.

I've noticed it makes my eyes look really blue though.

If a photoshoot with roses is the closest to you I can get..

I'll take it.

You are amazing.
I love you.
You know just how to make me feel better, all the time.

Flavours of the Month.(Evestay)

Mmmmm, this first one is delicious.
But unfortunately they only have this kind in North Van. :(. Maybe one day I will be rich enough to travel there and see this one in person.

This Months actual feature is pumpkin spice.
We have a pumpkin spice Tea, Donut and my favorite, the muffin.
This thing is so good. If you have been around for a while you will remember that I blogged about this baby last year around this time.

So, what can I say..it tastes yummy, it has the amazing spice factor and then on top of that it has some pumpkin seeds mixed in and cream cheese frosting piped into it. (If you want it to be more amazing that it already is you have to get Hannah to make it for you and she will put triple the amount of frosting in :).

Last but not least: Large Iced Mocha Latte.
So good. This consists of..Well, I don't know for sure..haha but it has
Expresso, Chocolate syrup base, Ice, Milk and then whipped topping and drizzle on top.
Technically if you order it normal it will be made with Chocolate milk but I found that that was really heavy so now I make it with white milk and it is just perfect. Oh, and since I have a terrible time with caffeine after 12 pm I make it decaff. Lame I know but it tastes the same.

115.

Would you like to purchase a smile cookie for a dollar?
All proceeds go to the Childrens department of the Royal Inland Hospital.

Hey blog readers.
I love you guys.
And I never ask you for anything do I?

Except for today.

PLEASE WILL YOU COME BUY COOKIES FROM ME!
I sold 115 today.
My apparent goal(as told to me by Julie) for tomorrow is 150.
That is where you come in.
As in..come in to the store.
Just kidding.
I will love you even more if you come through my drive thru tomorrow. And buy smile cookies. Heck you don't even have to buy one..Just donate a dollar..or five.

And if my store wins by selling our cookies the fastest then we will win a prize making that our third in a row making me very happy making me want to blog alot more making you happy.
So really. I'm doing this all for you.

So, will you help me out tomorrow?
Thank-You!

Oh, but the most important part to remember is this:
If you don't come buy one from me. I understand. I promise I won't hate you forever.
But whatever you do..don't buy one from another store. Since that would be aiding the opposition.

ALL IT TAKES IS A SMILE TO SHOW YOU CARE

You belong with me.

This weekend makes up for all the sucky weekends.

Details? I think so.

After work on Friday I went to Walmart, cause as we all know no weekend can be perfect unless it starts at Walmart.
I thought I would be cool after that and I took a trip down to the university.
Just being surrounded by all the students made me long to go there myself...JUST KIDDING! Haha, it made me feel better about my choice not to start secondary education this year :).

I hung out with Angela for the afternoon. She showed me the only place worth knowing on campus:The computer lab.
We picked up her brother from school and then went back to her place so she could give me the official tour of her new house.

That was an amazing part of the day. We just sat on a swing outside and talked forever.

But too much relaxing isn't fun at all. So around 5:30 we drove back up to the university and she dropped me off at the Tournament Capital Center thing. I don't really know what it's called. Because I had free tickets to the Womens + Mens Wolfpack volleyball! SO EXCITING!

*Pause* So as some of you know, I am trying to do everything that Kamloops has to offer this year, such as the Turtle races and the upcoming Run for the Cure(I'll post on this soon). But in this journey I will discover as much as some of these things are really fun...Wolfpack Volleyball is not one of those. *Unpause*

Well, maybe it's just because I am not that big of a sports person..but I didn't enjoy this that much. Totally would not have gone if there was not a free ticket. Seriously who wants to pay for that? Especially since Kandace made us leave before the Mens Volleyball :(. I shall never forgive her for that :).

After being forced away from the game we(Me, Kandace and Kyley) headed up to the mall, only since there isn't really much else to do on a Friday night in Kamloops.
Where we pretended we had money to do things like shop and got in trouble for some risque business in a change room :).

Obviously a Friday night is not complete without food. We stopped at my favorite place MCDONALDS. Where we read all the sodium in the food I was about to eat haha.

Then off to Behns. Watched Wipeout, as usual. Then didn't get to bed until about one which was so stupid since I had to work the next morning and I got...

SICK!

:(.

But I don't let things like that spoil my mood.
After work I walked to my brothers house. Dropped off my stuff and went on an adventure.
A pointless adventure apparently but it was fun while it lasted.

I went back to Behns, got ready and Cade picked me up on his way to..
Kelly O'Briens.
I Heart Pachos.

Happy Birthday Josh.

Dinner was good. Full of..Strawberries and Whipped Cream :).
I love food and friends so obviously when they are together I have a fabulous time.

Since we couldn't let the fun end there Me, Matthwell, Josh, Andrew and Cade went to "Pandorum". Which was so not as scary as I thought it would be. It was actually quite funny because all the boys were so freaked out. Where as I was a calm as could be :).

I got home and I went to bed..just like that..at 10:30. It was wierd. But felt so good.

Church the next day. Then a potluck. Yumm, Meatballs. Then the featured event of the weekend.

BOWLING. But being the group that we are we couldn't just go and bowl normally. We had to dress up. In short shorts and tight t-shirts. Ewwwwwwww.

It was fun though.

Next up: SHAE's family birthday dinner! Haha, Me and Kyley seem to think that we are invited to every family occasion. Silly girls. It was fun. There was extremely good food. And extremely good juice (Isabel made concentrated juice from a can for the first time.). And Cake..mmmm Cake. And licking of the floor because Hannah spilled her cake :). I lie. I didn't actually lick the floor but I was going to.

*Pause* My mother forgot how old I am. How sad. She thought I was turning 18. *Unpause*

Mmmm, we left for Curtis' house after that. Me and Kyley had good catching up time on the way there...although we didn't actually catch up on much :P. But that is okay I guess.

We watch Transformers 2! It was good. Better than the first time I think.

I fell asleep on the way home. And it's so cold at night now. I do hate winter.

3 Months.

P.S. A friend of mine keeps promising to come visit me at work but that person never does and it makes me sad.
Consider this your blog mention.
Now bring me food.

Good?

When asked the question, "How are you?"lately, I always give a questioning answer such as 'good?' or 'fine, I guess'.
But today I was thinking about that and..
I can't really complain about anything.
I am having fun with life.
Sure I could be worrying about what I am going to do with my life but for the most part I don't, and I feel okay.
Sure I don't like working as much as I am but hey, I'm making money and it's not as if I hate my job.
I am hanging out with friends, I am just reading for fun, I am doing things I have had on my list to do for a while.
Heck, The littlest things make me happy now, which is very different.
It is actually wierd because I never used to be like this.

I got an umbrella today and it made me soooo happy. (In order to fully understand my joy you will have to see a picture and I already promised myself no pictures of it until I can do a photoshoot in the rain so you might be waiting a while.)

It's nice like this.

I am great!

Clothes and Chick Flicks. Boys be warned.

Did I mention it was 3:30 in the morning?

So yesterday was the one of the worst days of work I have had.
I don't even want to go there. The only happy moments were having friends come in. Particularly my second half, Dace(oh, yes that name is never going to die :).

I got her to rent 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' for me.
And I watched it tonight. Finished it about 45 minutes ago.

Let me explain some vital information to understanding me.
1. I am very influenced by movies. Like, "Oh, she is a dancer. Wouldn't it be cool if I were a dancer I am going to sign up for dancing lessons right after the movie and I am going to practice every day and I am going to be amazing."
Trust me. Happens every time. Like when I watched Julie & Julia on Wednesday. :). Okay, so I didn't want to go out and write a food blog and become famous but I all of the sudden had an urge to bake and blog and so on.

So to continue my story.
I watched a movie about a girl who is a shopaholic and has a ton of clothes some of which she has worn only once or twice or *gasp* do I dare say it? Never!
There is a bit of a difference between this movie and others before it. That difference being, I am not wishing to be the star. I am the star.
Okay so I wouldn't go that far. But I might have a eensy teensy little problem.

I have a ton of clothes. I have clothes I have never worn out in public. Some of them have a good reason though, I promise.

In the movie, at the end. I'm sorry if I am spoiling it butt, at the end she sells all her clothes and is right again.

So, here I am going through my wardrobe at 3:30 am. Is this a stupid idea? YES. Am I worried that in my caffeine frenzied state I might give something away that might actually still have a place in my heart? No, not really. The things that I am actually giving away today are shirts that have not been worn in a very long time. And hardly worn at that. I am not worried that I shall be missing these articles of clothing.
Of course I will not be selling my clothing I will give it away.

So there you have it.

Although I have a sneaky suspicion that I am just doing this so I will have extra room in the closet and I won't have to justify myself after I go shopping next time.

I'm sorry if this post does not make much sense. I would like to remind you I am really tired, and I have worked a full 8 hours today(well, yesterday) and yeah I'm tired, my brain is shutting down.

Night.

You will have to settle for this.

I got home, I was pumped for blogging.
I was going to write an incredibly long post and it was going to be amazing.
But.
I don't feel like it anymore.
So I'm going to eat Popsicles until I feel sick.
Which won't be long since my stomach feels really bad already.
Sorry guys.

EDIT:
I bought my Turtles for the race on Sunday. They're names are Alfonso, Katrina and Joseph (Father, Mother and Baby Boy).
I am inviting you all to adopt one of your own, name him/her and come out and cheer them on with me.
I bought tickets for the 2:00 pm race.

8TH ANNUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, today I was going through the paper.
*Gasp* There is a shock right there. First time I have looked at a paper in like 3 months at least. Well, okay I was reading Dear Abby like a week ago..but ANYWAY.

I see an ad for the Turtle River Race. And sad to say..even though I have lived in Kamloops all my life I have never known or participated in this (not that I could, but I'll get to that).

The basic information of it is..You buy tickets. 1 for $10 or 3 for $25 and then the number on your ticket has the same number as an environmentally safe plastic turtle. They drop all those turtles into the river and the first three to make it to the finish line the fastest wins. It's just the luck of the draw really but it's alot more fun that just picking a name out of a hat.

All the proceeds go to Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops.

The only thing that makes me sad is, I cannot get one since this is a raffle and you have to be 19 or over. That's kind of lame.
But I like the idea of it. And I think all you should go adopt a turtle. Except you can't actually keep them, which sucks.
I would name mine Alfonso.

Did I mention there was prizes!

Race # 1: Wii Cruise Anaheim

Grand prize:

  • 3 nights cruise & 3 nights Anaheim package for 2
  • Future Shop Wii Package
  • $1,000 Gift Card at Save-On-Foods

2nd Prize:

  • Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing New Years Eve Gala Event for 2
  • Ocean Pacific Water Sports Scuba Diving Lessons & rentals for 2

3rd Prize:

  • $500 worth of Ric's Grill Certificates

Race # 2: Wii Cruise Las Vegas

Grand prize:
  • 3 nights cruise & 3 nights Las Vegas package for 2
  • Future Shop Wii Package
  • $1,000 Gift Card at Save-On-Foods

2nd Prize:

  • The Hills Health Ranch 1 Night B&B Package for 2
  • Ocean Pacific Water Sports Scuba Diving Lessons & rentals for 2

3rd Prize:

  • $500 worth of Ric's Grill Certificates

As you might have guessed, there is two races.
First one is at 1pm and second one is at 2pm.
The race takes about 25 minutes, Starting at the Kamloops Yacht Club(Yeah Who knew we had such a thing?)

So yes, I hope this thing appreciates my free advertising..cause it's not like I do this kind of thing alot. I just like turtles.

If you have questions..there is a website HERE. Like if you want to know where to adopt them from.
    Okay, Thanks Guys.

Apparently it's not the guitar.

I had my first guitar lesson on Thursday. Okay, well technically it's far from my first but I had a year and a half break so it felt a little weird.

After this I walked over to Superstore where my brother and friends were taking wayyy too long to decide what kind of food they want for camping. I just tagged along. Then this man came up to me and started asking questions about what music I played(remember I have a guitar on my back.) we talked for a bit. He told me this good band called Skillet who is actually a christian band(I guess I look like the type of person who wouldn't know that?) then his wife came along so he left.

He came up to me a second time. I was with different friends so maybe he felt intimidated cause all he did was wish me luck with my music playing.

But that wasn't enough. I am browsing the aisles waiting for people and I see him coming..so I turn the other way and go into a random aisle and am pretending to be interested in random food products. He comes up. Starts asking me questions about my music and then goes on to tell me he used to be in a band and wants to be in one now. "One like Skillet, the christian band, have I ever heard of them?"

I was quite frustrated by this point. Later, I go outside to wait and walk over to Tim Hortons. Got some stuff and as I am walking out the door I see these boys in a car staring at me as they go by. Umm ew? I find a place to sit and am happily eating my food when the same car comes out of drivethru. The boys start staring at me again..and then one of them waves.

I thought maybe these episodes happened because of the guitar on my back.
But no.
Since I did not have the guitar yesterday.

I was waiting outside of Interior Savings Centre. I was sitting on a bench, just reading my book.
Glancing up every couple minutes. About 10 minutes later I look up and there is this old man walking by looking at me. When I saw him staring he said hi..I said hi back..and quickly went back to reading. A while later an old man walks up, says "Hello Gorgeous" and sits down. Maybe man #1 was feeling a little bit jealous cause he came back and said hi again. At this point I decided it was in my best interest to escape, so I left.

Mmmm It doesn't stop there my friends.

I was walking from work to the church today and a car drove past and a guy in the passenger seat leaned out, smiled and waved at me. I most definitely did not know him.

IN CONCLUSION:
Okay, So maybe all these guys were just trying to be nice to me? I don't know.
But I do believe Kamloops has become a very creepy place while I was gone and I do not feel very comfortable anymore.
One thing is for sure, you will probably never catch me alone at ISC again.

T.I.L.T.!

It's Thursday, and I remembered! It's amazing I know.

1. Colbie Caillat.
2. Doing little things to make other people happy.
3. Oreo Cakes.
4. Popsicles.
5. Spontaneity.
6.Singing in a microphone.
7.Pictures!
8. Spell Check, haha.
9. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.
10.One of the boys.
11.Being able to resist temptation.
12. Before and after pictures.
13. Heart Surgeons.

Enjoying the graduated life.

When people ask me what I am doing this fall I tell the truth:
I'm working part time and going crazy having fun the rest of the time.
Just in the last two weeks I have done so much.

I have had photo shoots.

Cleaned my brothers house..Took so long, but I think it was worth it. (The before and after pictures should be appearing on facebook soon)

Had craft night at the Neutelings(See Kandace? I told you I knew how to spell it!)

While everybody else was busy doing neccesary invitation making I was just having fun.

I had a fun last night with my duckling before she left for camp.
Hanging out in Aberdeen was a wayy better idea than going to watch a movie.

I have started working on the perfect Hannah Tootsie donut.
It is far from perfect. It will take months of experimenting before I discover the perfect recipe.

I met up with a hopeful youngster applying at Starbucks and I asked if I could take a couple pictures of her. She wasn't really in the mood so here is the only good one I got.

Apparently this youngster has no friends since she asked if she could come home with me. Since I have such a kind heart I let her tag along on a biking adventure where we got the best popsicles known to mankind.

And caught a glimpse of the biggest dog I have ever seen. The picture does not do it justice.

The girl would not leave! So I let her stay the night and the next day we met up with a similar character and went on many adventures. Included in this was getting girly drinks from booster juice, comparing phones at koodo, walmarting, eating mcdonalds and taking my second ever bus ride in Kamloops. Pretty fun. On the bus we decided to be cool and sit at the back of the bus.
Yes, we are that cool.

That was only scraping the surface at what I have done since I am home. But really, don't you guys have better things to do than reading about all my crazy adventures?

I am having a blast.
Now go have your own crazy adventures and try to outdo me.

P.S. If any of you have the cell phone number of Derek from Sport Check could you please contact me?
Thanks.

Hot..Cocoa.

Sometimes when I say "Oh, I'm fine."
I want someone to look me in the eyes and say "Tell the truth."

30

Well,
I love being home.

Of course it would appear that my family is not used to having me around the house.
My mom keeps forgetting I am here and not making enough food because of that.

And, aww, the other day I was in my room on the computer and Noah walks in and asks "What are you doing here?..Oh wait I forgot that you came home." :(..

There is also strange things happening.

Today Sean told me that he sings 'Raindrops keep falling on my head' all the time. I thought he meant just the chorus....But no, he informed me that he has the whole song memorized. Weird.

The past two days I have been cleaning my brothers house. It actually makes me feel good.
Although I still have lots to do. When I am done I will be putting before and after pictures up on Facebook.

Today I finally cleaned my room and finished unpacking. I was sick of my room being a mess so I told myself I was going to listen to one song over and over again until I got it finished.

Lucky- Colbie Caillat and Jason Mraz
30 Times.

Surprisingly enough I didn't hate it at the end. But I am getting there.

K, I think you are updated enough for now.

Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy.

I am at home.
Enjoying it well it lasts.
I got home at 12:30 p.m. today and I leave at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Wow, I am one busy little girl.

The last week of camp was, not really the picture of perfection. Let's just say I cried and average of three times a day. I am just glad to be away from it all and starting something new. Hopefully in the next week I will be able to recover from my injuries(both physically and mentally) and I will be ready for a fresh new start in September.

Tomorrow I leave for Alberta til Sunday. It will be amazing. I know it. I will do a couple firsts.
1. Paintballing.
2. Going to a wedding of one of my oldest friends.
3.Roadtrip!(Well, I have done roadtrips but not one as long as this with friends)
4. Staying at a strangers house.

An never ending debate: Which part is yummier? The White icecream, the Chocolate icecream or the fudge part in the middle?
My personal favorite is never discussed, the fake icing on the edges and the nasty colored gel on top used for the writing.

:)

Hannah: "I'm the motha flipping Rymenocerous. My lyrics are bottomless.."
Christie:"What is that?"
Hannah "You don't know flight of the conchords? You deprived child!"
Christie:"No, being deprived is never having watched Matilda"
Hannah:"I've watched it a couple times..."
Christie:"See? No deprivation here!"

So funny.

Made me laugh.
Alot.
I love having Christie here.

No, please.

Do you know what one of my pet peeves is?

When a person keeps making fun of a movie and mocking everything that is happening and yet keeps watching and watches the whole thing.
It is freaking annoying..especially if I have to be sitting like right beside them the entire movie!!!!

Sidenote: I do confess I have maybe done this a bit before but not that much.

Hey guys,
It has been a while.
Ten days apparently.
I've been doing good.
I have a funny story. So at camp when people get mail they have to do something for it, like a stunt or embarassing act. This year they have these beans. Like jelly bellys but there is a twist. There is two flavours for for each colour. One good kind..and one bad kind. Example: Coconut or rotten eggs, Peach or Vomit. So when somebody gets mail they usually have to eat like 3 and everything is left up to chance. You could be lucky and get all good ones..or fail epicly.
I got a package from my mom. The sad part is Mark let me shake it before I did the stunt and..and I knew instantly what it was. COD LIVER OIL PILLS! So really I didn't want the package at all but I had to do it anyway. And since for some reason I get special treatment, instead of only getting like 3 beans..I got 6. Guess how many of them were bad? 5! It was so gross. The last one was vomit..and it did actually taste like vomit..SOOOOOO Gross. The only consolation was I made Mark eat one of the pills my mom sent me. Hahahha, so funny. Anyway yes. That's my story. More sad than funny.
That's pretty much all I have to say.
Now I am going to get off the computer and not waste away my last weekend at camp.

Love you!
P.S. We have 8 day camp coming up, it's the last camp but speaking from experience I know it will be very hard. So I would appreciate prayer for that.

=D

I'm intensely happy and I do not know why.

I cannot go for five seconds without smiling.

It is strange and creeping me out.

Maybe it is the lack of food.

I love food.

But not cheese.

It should not be considered food.

Duke:So, uh, do you... like cheese?
Eunice: More than almost any other animal by-product.

Haha, I love she's the man.

Last year at camp we got into this Amanda Bynes kick and watched she's the man and sidney white over and over again.

Hmm, The topic comes back to camp.

Camp food: Usually really good.

The downside is we usually have the same meals every week, so you kind of get sick of it. Unless it is the grilled cheese sandwiches. Sooooooooooooooooo good.

Anna (in Tess's body): It's easy to be you. I'll just suck the fun out of everything.
Tess (in Anna's body): I do not suck the fun out of everything.
Anna (in Tess's body): Fun-sucker.

All right, this morning was good. But then I got up.
Darling. Could you, like, chill for a sec? Sure, sure, I'll chill. - I'll, like, go get your dad. Alan, that's not our car!
K, the heat is getting to me. I think I am out of my happy mood. I need to wake up in seven hours so I am going to go to bed.

Camp is going great. I don't know what else to say.
I'm happy to be home. So happy that all I can do is clean and garden. Haha, no I have been doing more..but that has taken up the majority of my time.
I guess I'm making up for the bunch of nothingness I did at the lake.

HELLO WORLD! HANNAH IS BACK IN HER HOMETOWN SO COME HANG OUT WITH ME!

Higher, Higher.

H€Y GUYS!

I'm rocking out to Katy Perry while attempting to make peanut butter cookies for the like 3rd time today.
So, as I think of things to say I will right them down. (Oh the joys of having a laptop.).

I don't think that peanut butter cookies are a very good idea because last time I made them they failed horribly..but..I kind of have to.. :).

Cade made supper for him and me tonight. It was so cute. Of course it wasn't all the complicated. Steak and potatoes and the steak was already marinated but still. And I was outside weeding when it was ready so he put it on a plate and put it in the fridge for me. Awww.

Anyways. Usually when I come home from camp I miss it alot and I feel as if there is nothing to do. But I am not really missing it at all. Does that sound harsh? I love camp and all but I am really glad that this break went from being a weekend into a whole week.

Today was slack but not. I did an intense clean of the fridge. I threw so much stuff out. And I cleaned the dining room a bit. I did a ton of weeding and watering. And more weeding. I watched a movie. I finished the book I had been working on this weekend. I listened to music. I avioded the many emails I should be sending. I had a shower. I shaved my legs and now they feel so nice..haha.

Haha, I am watching 'Emma'. What an enjoyable movie.

She is alive.

So, I was feeling sorry for all of you since I never blog much anymore..like there is no quantity to my posts. So, I'm going to try and write a super long one this time. Can't promise anything but here goes nothing.

For like a month now I have been going about my business without wearing glasses or contacts. I know it must be terrible for my eyes and all but it's just easier not having to worry about that at all.

My meals of this weekend so far have been microwave popcorn, poptarts and onion rings. Yuummm. It was the first time I had ever had the rings, they were okay, I guess.

There is a strange man watching me. Creepy.
Umm I can't think right now.

I keep waking up at five every morning. Not very fun.

This morning I went to the staff room at seven and I have been here since then except for once when I went to get food. It is now three. I really should go do something else. I am wasting away my precious weekend.

Campers come again tomorrow. Crazy.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, There is this tea that I have been looking for everywhere, it's call earl grey vanilla. I cannot find it anywhere. I have looked at like 7 different grocery stores. But I do know it exists because I saw the advertisment for it on the back of the reg. earl grey and someone here at camp has it.

I really want a package. There has been two people that have gotten packages from home and they look so cool..there is like food and clothes in them. But no mom, this is not a unsubtle hint to send me one. It doesn't really matter. It's just a statement.

Okay, my try failed. But I'm going to go get fresh air now.

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

Awwwwww.

You turned my 5.5 day into an 8 day.

Haha, you guys will not be able to understand this. But that's okay. As long as I know what is going on it's all good.

T.I.L.M.

Because I can never remember to do this on Thursday I am just changing it to monday..for this week at least.

1.Oreo Cakesters.( Like actually ..those things are amazing. If you don't know what to get me for my birthday you can just give me some of those.)
2.Showers.
3.HOT CHOCOLATE!(The real stuff)
4.Music.
5.Random crazy adventures.
6.Food in general.
7.Sleep(hahaha)
8.Weekends.
9.Emails.

Thursday, July 9, 2009

P.S.

1. Oh my goodness. One of the many benefits of camp is: I don't wear any makeup anymore! Well, sometimes I put on a bit...but I have been feeling beautiful without it, and that makes me very happy. And it saves so much time in the morning :).

2. I am eating soooooo much!
Seriously. I eat like seconds and thirds every meal. I know I am prolly going to gain so much weight but whatever. I'm okay with that at the moment too.

*CAMP*

So,
*Note* During the week I only have an hour break every day and that is divided between sleep and God and anything else I need to do when I am bymyself. So if you email me or something please don't expect a reply. I would email you back iffffffffff I had more time.

So, Hey guysss.
It has been awhile eh?
Let's quickly go over what has happened in the last....two weeks-ish.

I went to camp...*YAY!*.
It has actually been...somewhat amazing so far.
The first week was staff training and it was sooo full and packed, it felt like the whole summer in one week.
Highlights were...Umm July 1st...we were in the Peachland parade..soo fun. We had a float...and there was some of the themes from this year and a replica of our pool and archery range and we sang camp songs buuuut I....had an intense job. *Backstory* This year out camp got a BMX track..and so me and Steve rode BMX bikes in the parade. It was sweet. I would ride around the float in my huge helmet and elbow and knee pads and pretend I could actually do jumps and stuff..when in actuallity I can hardly even ride a bike. But Steve did show me how to do a bunny hop so now I can do that but it is pretty lame.

And then at night we watched the fireworks but since it is Peachlands 100th birthday they were HUGEEEEEEEEEEEE. So good.

So yeah. The whole week was filled with work projects and sessions and training in general..and food. I would have to say that the food was the best part.

On the weekend we took a bus(*GASP*) my second ever bus ride. Starbucks run..and then the carnival/fair thing..and A&W and food shopping and yeah..hahaahhahaha oh man...exploring a creek...hahahahah.

Ummmmmmmm, Yes so camp started yesterday. I was a little nervous before..but as soon as the girls started coming it was good..and I felt comfortable.
The age group for this week is 5-10? I think. I have 7, 8 and 10's in my cabin and so far they have been really good. Let's hope it stays that way :P.

So yes. It's been great. It's actually quite unbelievable for me when I think that I still have a whole summer left when it feels like it has been so long already.

But prayer would be appreciated cause I am almost certain that the all the weeks will not be as slack as this one(just wait until teen camp :).

So yeah. there is a little update. Dont' expect anything from me again for a while. Besides, reading about camp is prolly so boring :).

Love you guys!

It was fun.

Thursday, June 11, 2009

A near perfect day.

Oh my goodness.
Today was..Amazing.
Let's recap shall we.
Though..just to start us off.

I rarely think good of anything.
No, maybe I didn't phrase that right.
It's just that I don't really appreciate things that much.
But today, all day, I have been having fun, enjoying myself, living in the moment, and realizing it.

Ahem, I begin my tale.
I woke up to my mother telling me I had about 20 minutes to get ready.
+1 I had a really good dream -1 She interuppted it.
I looked in the mirror. I was happy with what I saw and I didn't put any makeup on +1.

Went to the park.
PLAYED HOCKEY AND IT WAS AWESOME!
I actually had so much fun. And I was sweating and gasping for breath at times and that made it feel so much better. Just so you know that wasn't sarcastic.
-1 In the car before I got out..I put makeup on..I know, bad girl.

After which, I went to Mcdonalds for lunch :).

Then off to school where everybody went to the theatre thing to watch the production that the drama class had put together.
It was..good. I just didn't really understand the old english. But my favorite part of it was, every time I looked over at Mr. Bastedo he was mouthing the lines :).

After school I drove! And I didn't make any almost-accident mistakes.

Then I drove to Grama Denise's house. Where we had a mini visit while I gave her the invitation to grad.
And then to Grandpa Buds where we went in for tea. It was pretty sweet. Drinking tea and visiting with them.

Came home. And decided I wanted a picnic on the patio. But of course we couldn't have a picnik with the way it looked(nasty.) So me Sean and Lukas cleaned everything up and hosed down the cement and it looked so great.

And, of course we had to pick the one day that my dad had taken away the bbq..so we couldn't have any hamburgers or anything but we had...SOUP instead.
Pretty much the greatest thing ever.

I wanted the fun to go on soo. I suggested a trip to the boys treefort that they have been fixing up. At the time I didn't know that it took 30 minutes of hiking to get there.. :)
We hiked it was tiring but fun. I took lots of pictures..they will/are on facebook so check them out.

Had some deep conversations about Jackie Chan movies while we were up there. Came home.

Sat by the pool for a while cooling off my feet and singing as loud as I could.

Had a snack of Rice crispies and my new earl grey/green tea.

And now I am getting caught up with my pictures.

I loved today.

Edit: Well, the day part of it.
