FYI: I actually detest it when people shorten pictures into 'pix' or 'pics'. Flowers make me happy. Who says you need a special reason to buy them? Cause they are totally wrong! My fishy is changing colours. He started all white, then got some reds and orange, and now there is some blue appearing. I'm thinking it must be normal, but we still don't know what type if fish he is so we can't find out. We just celebrated our 13 week anniversary this past Saturday. I am the queen of making fun for myself. So, this night I invited my brother(who is a little uptight sometimes) along for the ride. We went and saw a movie. Not together of course. That would be weird =). I saw 'Ramona and Beezuz'. Holy, that was a good movie. I could probably even watch it again in theatres. But I won't. He saw 'Despicable Me'. Wild horses couldn't drag me to that movie. Trust me, one already tried. After I dragged him to Walmart got some Taylor Swift and some really nasty candies(pictured above *they were called Snerdles how could I resist?*) and made him sing all the way home. Well, he was singing..I was..yelling. And now I believe I can say I am recovered from a really really bad day at work. Thanks for tuning in, it's time for me to get lots of sleep.
1. I can't wear the same socks twice. Ew. Always fresh ones for me. 2. I go for dinner and movies by myself. And don't think much of it. 3.Every night I set my alarm and then check it multiple times. But I don't stop there, every time I check it I mentally go through my morning schedule to make sure I will have enough time. The funny thing is, I do everything the exact same every morning and it always takes relatively the same amount of time, but my brain doesn't trust itself I guess. 4. I love butter tarts but hate raisins. So I fork them into my mouth suck on them and then spit them out. 5. I love trying out new things, specially food type things. It brings me much joy to find something I've never tried before and buy it just to see what it's like. Half the time it turns out being disgusting, but it held me in suspense for awhile. 6. I am a free spirit. And for the most part I can just laugh when people think I am strange for doing things and acting the way I do. 7. I have a love for ugly. Which is pretty much the reason I chose the blackmoor goldfish and one day I will have a pug to call my very own. 8. I get very annoyed/upset when people judge on some accounts. So I try to go out of my way to prove them wrong. Maybe I'm explaining this a little wrong. A lot of people think I'm not very physical and are very surprised when I do something like play hockey or keep up with the group when we go for a hike. What they should know is I love doing those things. And maybe I'm not very good at them but that's only cause I've had bad experiences so I've stopped trying. I love playing hockey. And it makes me extremely happy when I actually get the ball and pass it to the right person..but half the reason I hold back is cause of the negative I get when I pass it to the wrong person. 9.I have a dress/shoe fetish. I might have told you about this before. I love love love buying new shoes and dresses. But the problem is..whenever I go to wear this I decide that they aren't appropriate for the situation and it would be easier to wear something else. Sad, very sad. 10. I have this..nasty addiction. I've decided to come clean about it. I hoard food. There it's out. I know you are all judging me now. Let me explain :D. I like to buy myself extra food..cause really, sometimes I want something other than cheese and apples to snack on in a day. Then I put it in my closet. and usually I never eat it..and it has been building up in there for a while. I'm gonna pawn some of it off on suspecting characters though.. Actually I already have =).
That I love my pseudo family? They are pretty amazing.
RECAP: Today was the best day off I've had in months.
I had Starbucks AND McDonalds for breakfast. Win right there. I took pictures, and sorted music. Cause that's what I do for fun. I went out of the box and sat in a different section of church.
I illegally rode in the back of a truck. I saw Kelsey and Steve's new place. I had lunch with cool people and.. Tried the new cobb salad from Wendy's. Btw it was so good.
I photo shot myself and watch two episodes of the sweet new show I'm into.. HARPERS ISLAND
I got gas. Like car gas..for my car.
I hung out with 4 of the most awesomesauce people ever! The Baerg family is my favorite.
We made gluten free cinnamon buns that took forever..and we had to substitute a ton of stuff..and the oven caught on fire...But they turned out great. Almost tasted as good as normal ones.
Oh, we used the interesting cookbook that Jill gave as a bridal shower present..I din't know if it's bad luck to use presents before the wedding but at least you know it's a good one eh? It was so very interesting with all the information about different flours and starches and such. We spent a great deal of time reading it.
And we discussed bridesmaid dresses and picked out the recessional song for the wedding. FUN TIMES. I laughed way too much. And we danced way too much too.
It has been so long since I was a Baerg I forgot how much fun it was. I will not wait 6 months before the next time.
Do you ever have those moments when you think about either a friend or a family member and your love for them overtakes you for a moment and it's hard to breathe?
Okay..maybe I'm the only crazy one like that.
Anyway. I love procrastination. I was going to do a blog post about Jamaica..but the bigness of the project scares me so I will put it off awhile longer.
2. Fringe is my latest tv show conquest. I am loving Walter Bishop and tin foil hats.
3.Great Big Sea is live in Kamloops on Saturday! This excites me to the very point of running around the yard doing little happy laughs. This is a band that I pretty much grew up on. Them, Enya and Switchfoot pretty much made up my music tastes. Hopefully when I go to buy tickets tomorrow they will still have some left. They have been going for 18 years. Crazy.
4. In theatres, at this very moment there is a movie called 'Ramona and Beezuz'. I am very tempted to go watch it. Although it might ruin the fond memories that I have developed for the Beverly Cleary book. And Selena Gomez is in it. Blech. Josh Duhamel on the other hand... :D
5.My fish is still alive and still kicking but it seems in all the rush of packing before Jamaica I totally forgot about my ivy and it is looking a little..droopy. Hopefully i can revive. I'll start by a nice drink and nice trip to the dark cool basement(I fear that half the reason why he's so sick is because of all the heat.)
They drive on the left side here. So, don't expect us to be renting a car and driving ourselves to any of the attractions. And the driving in general is very intense. Just a tiny bit more civilized than Haiti. Which means, rather than total chaos there are a couple stop lights here and there.
I have a major sunburn already. But that's okay because the tan will be worth it. It hurts for now though.
Today was an intense climb up a waterfall. Yeah I know. My mother, climbed a waterfall. I'm still in shock.
Anyways. There is just a little update on my trip. Oh, and I found my dream man but I couldn't understand his name because of his Jamaican accent :).
I am typing this with very tired fingers and my eyelids are drooping but, for some reason I don't want to go to bed yet.
This morning I woke up at 5:45. Who does that? But it was actually good cause I wasn't really that tired even though I have every right to be.
I took my time getting ready and was at the church by 6:40. Where, I didn't really do anything I planned to do but everything came together nice anyway.
*Sidenote* I have spent about 13 hours in that my church this week. I like to take up projects that turn out to be huge time consumers, but I've been having fun while doing it so it's all good.
Church was good. I came home after and puttered around for a bit. Spent some time with my feet in the creek while eating delicious strawberry icecream. I even did some mending! I am starting to like this slow Sundays that I don't have to do anything.
Oh and I slept. It felt good.
And the rest of the day from four on was hanging out with C&C at the Coulters house. So all in all, one of the best days I have had in the past month. Go me! haha.
I do have something that has been ticking me off that I wanted to blog about. But, since this is such a happy post I won't ruin. Next time..
Very tired. I have declared tomorrow SLEEP DAY! Which means about two hours after I get home from work I'm going to sleep and I'm not waking up til the next morning. That might seem really bad but I have 9 days in a row that I have to get up by 6:30 or earlier..so I really need to rest up my body. So..there.
Monday, July 5, 2010
I woke up at five. Half way through getting ready I realized I didn't work 'til 7:30. Fail. But I went back to bed at least. Still. I am kicking myself for not double checking the night before.
So. Summer Goals. I still don't want to ruin the surprise/ don't want to tell you all and in the end have to admit that I failed, so I will just give a point form on how they are coming. And I will leave all details out. I just want to make sure you know I am not skipping out on these. I take them very seriously.
Oh, and..well in the beginning I was counting June as summer but that was pretty much a flop. So..I PROMISE I will go hard on the actual months of summer. Completing all of my goals is actually making me very excited.
So without further ado:
1. Well, It's harder to get into it. I thought it would be easy..but I am making baby steps toward the goal. 2. Haha, this one is the only I can be sure will be completed by the end of this. Unless something really drastic happens. 3.From the beginning I knew this was going to be a tough one. And I not really motivated. But..now that I spend alot of time alone I might actually start trying. But..the future of this one looks dim. Not to say that I am giving up..just not trying as hard as some of the other ones. 4. Well, this one is shooting for the moon. But at least I'll be that much closer than I previously was. I purchased the supplies for it today so I'm good to go. Now actually getting the motivation will be the next hurdle.
anyway. So I know that didn't make alot of sense. more of just a personal journal to myself I guess. Once the goals are out in the open you can look back and the foggy parts might be a little bit clearer... But good night, Readers! Off to Put 4 into practice, procrastinate 3 & 1 and dream of 2.

I completed this puzzle all by myself! A whole 1000 pieces. I would have gotten it done in the first couple days if it had not been for those boring patches of all green. I can never make myself sit there and try and fit one piece into 20 different spaces. But I finally hunkered down last night and this morning and it looked so good all finished up. I will have to buy myself a new one later this week.
Now, this next picture is a bit of a puzzle in itself. Let me draw your attention to the black box on the wall. Yes, that one with the little man and starbucks cup in it. So, on top of that box can you make out the glass jar-ish type thing? The other morning I woke up. And it was on my bedside table. It was quite the mystery. I don't know how it got down. Somewhere amidst my dreams I must have woken up and taken it down from its high resting place. But there is no part of me that remembers this. WEIRD.
Mmm, I think that is it for my exciting life as of late. You know my life is going great when my updates are of puzzles.
Yay! Coldstone Creamery from the States is partnering with Tim Hortons of Canada and together we make beautiful coffee ice cream. That's a lie. Well, we do make coffee ice cream but it has nothing to do with Tim Hortons. Trust me, I make it myself.
Yes, I am now a certified coldstone creamery employee. So good at my job in fact that they gave me a little pin. These pins are only rewarded to one person at every store. That's how amazing I am.
I know how to make ice cream. And Ice cream cakes, Waffles bowls, waffle cones, cupcakes, Icecream sandwiches and on top of all that I know how to sing songs while doing it.
Ugh yes. We sing while we make your icecream. Doesn't that just make you want to stop in for a bowl right away?
Anyway. The good in this is we get new uniforms. Not that the old ones were bad, I actually liked them alot. These are just new, and different.
So, remember when I told you I had that list of summer goals? One of those goals was to travel somewhere outside of Canada this summer. Now I could have been lame and just walked across the border but, that would be lame. So. I decided to make it a bit more exciting.
I wanted to go on a cruise. Cause really, I don't care where I'm going as long as I get to relax and there is plenty of sun. And a cruise is way better since you get to several different places instead of just being stuck in one place.
When I had originally told my mom my plan of going somewhere she thought that it would never happen so she agreed to go with me. Silly mother. But being the research nerd that she is *:)* she started looking for possibilities. And one night while discussing different options we started comparing an all inclusive resort to a cruise. And let's just say..we found a sweet little resort 20 minutes from Montego Bay and...exactly 3 weeks, 11 hours and 30 minutes from now we will be flying out to Jamaica for a week.
It's really soon. Haha, and I'm sort of just realizing that now. But in order to work with our schedules and other things it was now or..September..and I didn't want to wait that long :).
I am pretty darn excited.
Of course as I was laying in bed thinking about it today I realized that we are leaving all the boys to fend for themselves for awhile. I wonder how that is going to go.
Anyway, I am going to go load my ipod with a little Bob Marley to prep myself for the trip
P.s. At least I know I will have one thing to cross off of my summer list.

I have become so..routine. It disgusts me. :)
Okay, well not disgusts but a word similar to that.
I have always been so spontaneous and undecided, leaving it to the last minute and all that good stuffed mixed into one little girl. But in the past little while I have settle into a little routine. Not quite sure if I like it yet. But for the time being it works.
Some things that are different: I never hit the snooze button anymore. I have a schedule to keep and my body know that so it is willing to get up right away.
I clean my room all the time. Rarely is it ever messy anymore. I straighten up usually right before bed. And I set out everything I need for the next day. In exactly the place I need it to be in.
My fish is still alive. I know that one doesn't really going along with everything else..But hey, it's a miracle. I clean his tank frequently and feed him at least 2 times a day..so here we are 7 weeks later..he is still alive and I am so proud of myself. I'm thinking if I can keep him for 6 months I will be ready for the next step. Which you do not get to know yet.
Anywayyyyyyyys.
Yes. Hannah is unsure of this new her. The one that has summer goals and actually is moving the next step to complete them. The one that has a 2 year plan. CRAZY! But there is nothing else more exciting at the moment so she will keep it up and hopefully it will shape her into a better person.
On the way home there was a beach ball on the side of the road. I stopped. U-turned. And went after it. But it had disappeared. DEPRESSED!
Yesterday I felt terrible on the drive home. I cried for like 15 minutes. Which isn't that good when you are driving..cause unlike a car I don't have eye wipers.
My store closed for renovations today.
Sorry that my posts are so all over the place lately. But, really..I'm not sorry. Caause I've been all over the place and this thing is just really a reflection of me.
I painted my toes awhile ago. They go Orange, Orange, Orange, Orange, GREEN. And then Orange, Orange, Orange, Orange, GREEN.
And now people keep asking me why. WHY NOT!? Why does anybody paint their toenails..I have no clue really. But anyways. So why am I not allowed to paint mine like this even though it seems a little strange.
I have a confession. I love it when my photographer friends take pictures of me cause I know they will look beautiful.
There is this song I want to do a cover of. And so i was 'practicing' it on the way home tonight. But really I was just shouting it at the top of my lungs. It was fun.So I did it two more times. My throat is now a little sore.. But hey, sometimes you just need to make a fool of yourself when you know no one will see or hear you.
Yay. It's my day off tomorrow.

My brother and I passed each other half way between Vernon and home. We waved.
Last summer there was a huge fire in Westbank.
I've decided I like roadtrips when I am driving. Preferably alone.
When you get a cut in the back of your throat it feels like you have a sore throat. This puts you in a false panic cause you start thinking maybe you are sick. Which is bad when you have to wake up at five the next morning.
There were sheep.
I can't move my face. It's like when you get Botox.
I recommend face masks for everybody. They make your skin sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo soft.
I lefft my crocs in the car. Apparently one of them got too hot. And shrunk. Who knew that things like this could happen. those crocs are prretty much my life. So..I have to find a new pair.
Before December '09 I would have loved this but now that I have to drive in it..ick, rain is sometimes my least favorite thing. Especially since my tires are terrible and it feels like I'm slipping off the road all the time. ANYWAY.
So. There was huge puddles everywhere last night. But. There was a lake in the parking lot of the Valleyview McDonalds.
And even though it was late, dark, my food was getting cold and people were looking at me strange..I went wading in it.
Haha, I wanted to see how deep it really got and the bottom of my pants were soaked anyways. I felt ridiculous. But it was quite enjoyable. And alot deeper than I had estimated it to be.
What would life be without Dreams, Goals and Aspirations?
Pretty boring. Worthless, almost.
I have decided to compose a list of things to do this summer. Things I have always wanted to do, and things made up on the spot.
All of these goals shall be possible. Meaning: If I set my mind to it I can accomplish it. But whether or not I accomplish them all I will post the full list at the end of the summer.
I will add to the list as I see fit. And I will see how much more complete I feel at the end of it all.
Fun facts: I burned myself at work today. It hurt like...really hot things from the depths of the earth. But since it was so busy I didn't let anybody know how much it hurt. I said I was fine and went back to running around making things. That went on for like 20 minutes. Ironically pretty much the entire time I was crying but nobody notice cause everyboy was so busy. Until finally my manager realized that I was only using one hand and the other lame hand was bright bright red. So she yelled at me for awhile before I finally took her advice and went to the back to soak it in cold ice water.
I'm not blaming anybody. I just wanted to tell you a story about how idiot Hannah likes to apply pain to herself.
Oh..and I bought a box of lime green and black tissue. Well, the box is lime green and black. The tissues are just plain normal white.
K. I really need to pack.
Hi, I'm Hannah and I don't let other peoples ideas and ways of thinking affect my life. I have my own way of thinking and I will keep thinking that way whether or not people like it.
I dance in the rain. I wear huge bright clothing found in the mens department. I think my braces are sexy.. *Cough* sorry mom. Attractive. I laugh to myself and I sing like nobody is listening.
I do the things that I enjoy even if nobody else thinks it would be fun. And I like who I am.
Sometimes it's hard to express your own spirit when you have everybody around you putting it down.
But. I will continue being myself. And I will not conform to make others happy, or to get more things in life.
Note: Totally don't know where that came from. But I was just feeling it.
Hey, guess what? It's Thursday and I actually remembered! Quite amazing I know.
1. Flowers. From people.
2. Being outside. 3. Capturing beauty. 4. Creating Hannah Tootsie Donuts. 5. My Darling. 6.Taking picture with my Darling. 7.Making Music with her.
8. TAYLOR SWIFT! (I had been out of the T. Swift loop for a while. But now I'm back. And it's as good as ever.) 9.The creepy woman voice that can tell me what song is playing on my ipod. 10. Making things look good. 11. Having my camera cord back. 12. Driving my car. 13. Sleeping. 14. Having the day off tomorrow. 15. MMMMMMmmmmmmm AMSTERDAM HERE I COME! 16.John Deere. 17.Sweet Deals. 18. Payday. 19. 10. 20. McDonalds. Only one week left.

This evening has been a whole lot of hatin'. I will not go into details. But let's just say I'm not in a good mood at all.
Okay, fine. I will put up some pictures... Just not ones I took.
Easter weekend we got the whole Lefebvre side together to have a special birthday dinner for my Grampa. We also..decided to take family pictures. Ick. It was a combination of fun, boredom and..not so fun. I mean holding the perfect smile for an hour and a half? Not easy, folks. Not easy at all.
Well, If you have been a follower of this blog for a while now you will remember how in early December I had to bring my mothers dirty deeds into the spotlight.
For those of you who haven't.. Read THIS before continuing. Or maybe just for a refresher.
So. Readers. I am sad to say my mother is back to her distasteful ways. Although this time it is not harboring massive amounts of cow. SHE HAS BEEN STEALING!
Ahem. Exhibit A:
Mom: Hannah, did you take my camera cord? I can't find it anywhere. Hannah: No mom. Why would I take your cord when it doesn't even fit my camera. And..*another rant on about missing my cord.* Mom: Well, I don't know where mine is..all I have are these three cords and none of them are mine.
*Hannah glances over to the three cords her mother is gesturing to.*
Hannah: AHHHHHHHHH YOU STEALER. YOU TOLD ME YOU DIDN'T HAVE IT! Mom: All I said was I didn't go into your room and take it.
*Hannah does a happy dance. Although still pretending to be upset with her mother for having hidden her camera cord...totally on purpose.*
So there you have it, folks.
The good news is, I have my cord back and I can once again accompany my boring words with some boring pictures.
The bad news is, my mothers condition has gotten worse. She most definitely needs help.
Today I came across the strangest invention ever. What people will create to make money. Of course it would never work if there were not silly people like me to buy these things. I just get curious over strange objects.
You can't really tell from the picture what it is.. But it's 'candy'. It's liquid skittles that you spray into your mouth. It just tastes like a granny smith apple really. But for added effect you can press a button on the bottom and it lights up.
Such a waste..of everything.
Oh, I guess more important news is.. I have finally completed everything..so.. I'M A TRAINER! These past two days have been terrible. I wanted to slam my head into walls...pretty much every five minutes. But now it's done with. And I'm that much closer to becoming a supervisor. Hopefully that position will come just a little bit faster than the last one did.
1. I painted my toenails pink. With stolen nailpolish.
2.I'm on a McDonalds fast. I have 23 days left to go.
3. Some days I get this idea that I don't need to paint my face in order to look good. Usually I go about ten minutes before freaking out and rushing to a mirror to put my make up on. But the last two days I have been completely make up free. And I didn't feel that bad about it. Of course maybe I should have chosen the day they took the 'before' pictures of my braces. But I was thinking now the end result will look that much better.
3. I have been really tired lately. So tired that I fall asleep in random places like cars. And work.
4. Apparently I am so tired that I can't remember that i have done 3 already.
You annoy me so bad. Where can you be hiding? I remember the last time I used you and it was in my room! AGGGGGGHHHHH.
I found two songs today that are perfect to cover and I was going to record them when I remembered that I didn't have the cord. this made me very unhappy. I tried telling myself that it was good cause I had extra time to make it perfect. Still, that didn't go over well.
and don't even suggest using my web cam cause the sound sucks.
P.S. I took that picture. That is my header right now. It amazes me. In it's awesomeness. What also amazes me is that I was actually able to capture it. I think it's cool. My ego is growing huge because I think I took an amazing picture. Please don't correct me if your opinion differs from mine. I would like to think I am good at something.
Haha, hooked you with that title didn't I? Or are you just nodding and thinking how true that is..
But I actually am going to go deeper. So. I hung out with my older brothers at their house today. I had the MOST amazing time ever.
I was pretty much laughing the entire time.
Then tonight I drove one of my brothers home(a different brother). And, let's just say it wasn't very pleasant. I was close to crying at the end.
It just reminded me that I love my brothers so much and care so much about what they think or feel, that one word, good or bad, can make or break my day.
And since I was on this serious rant anyway I started thinking about the male gender in general. Some people don't understand why most of my friends are guys or why I would rather just hang with a group of guys and how I could be comfortable with that.
But I think it's because of growing up with just brothers. I usually treat all my guy friends like brothers. So what may appear as flirting to some people is just me being friendly and thinking that a brother would never take that the wrong way. ew Gross :). I just find it way easier to open up to guys. Not saying I totally diss girls. I love 'em. And I have plenty of girls that I like to hang out with too.
So yeah. In my mind this was a lot longer. Having to write everything down makes it sound dumber so I changed a lot of it.
Anyway. Now that we are past the awkward serious stuff.
If you can remember from last Sunday I went to Wendy's and wanted the Taco salad? Well, today Me, Matt and Behn were sitting in the living room watching a show on like TLC or SLICE or some channel(Behn's choice, don't ask me. and that was even better than the chef at home he had going when I got there. What boy watched food network?) when I mentioned that I was going to go to Wendy's and get a taco salad. Should NOT have done that. For the next hour every five minutes one of them would yell out "Bring me Taco salad!" Or incorporate 'Taco Salad' anywhere in any conversation. So finally I caved and drove over and got three taco salads. plus a baconator for Behn and fries for me which I am just now realizing I didn't even touch. Dang it.
Anyways. I had a lot of food to carry out to the car. The employees were laughing at me and one offered to help me out to the car. I later realized that was the signal(that was for HIMYM fans). But no, I'm stubborn and didn't think I would spill coca-cola all over my nice new seat cover. Lucky for me, I didn't. HAH. Take that, world. *Hm, I guess now would be the time to warn you that I might be hyped up on caffiene from the bajillion cups of earl grey I had at work today. Seriously. At least 6 large cups. It was a terrible idea. Every ten seconds vibrations are going through my feet and I don't know why. ANYWAYYSS*
I brought our salads home and we tried to figure them out. There was salad and chips and sour cream and chili and dressing and knives *pause* I did just say it k-nives in my head to remind myself how to spell it*unpause* and spoons and forks.
It was so confusing. We didn't know if there was a certain order you were supposed to do things in..and apparantly there was since I put my dressing on top of chili and it was so good. But Matthew put his underneath the chili and didn't like it at all. :D.
But anyway. Attempting to make this long story short. Yes it was good. I would eat it again..except..the chili. mmmm well. We made up crazy stories about the chili to the point where I did almost throw up. No joke. but anyway.
All the while we were eating we watched house shows. Like redecorating and buying and stuff. And then..since we wanted to prove we could be weirder we listened to this and Behn sung along.

One of my friends from work is in love with a show called 'One Tree Hill'. Since she is always going on about it I decided to give it a chance. It's not really my type..but the best thing I like about it is the soundtrack. Lots of good songs.
Like...
And..
The first one is kind of weird. But the second one is just soft and nice. She is one of the main characters in the show.
I though this was cute. I was facebook stalking..and I might have been going through a profile of somebody I've never met before. But I've seen this person lots. And I know some of his/her friends/relatives so it's okay right? Anyway. I saw this..and my heart just went 'aahhhhhhhhhh'. This person is so weird and creative..and that's only from looking at his/her profile
Today was such a good day. Although it's not over..but I wanted to proclaim my love now just in case something terrible happens and I don't feel like blogging about happiness anymore.
So. I started work at six today. Haha, how can I be happy about that? Well,
1. That means I get off earlier. 2. I get to spend time with mah friend Jason. 3.The day goes by quicker(proven fact). 4.Not as much traffic going in so I can go all the way up to Oreole road.
I saw my brother #1 and I threw "Snowballs" at him. Then a friend came in to see me. AHHHHHHHHh I couldn't stop smiling after that. And then brother #2 came in..and I asked him to go cut a key for me and he did. And that made me even happier.
And then I came home and I've been cleaning *my* car since. And now it looks clean and good-looking. And I personalized it and put in sweet *emergency stuff*(okay technically not emergency..but it's nice to have things like extra gum and hair elastics just in case).
And I can't wait for tomorrow cause I'm going to buy seat covers and they will be awesome.
okay. Now for the best happy news of all.
So today...I came home. and no one was home so I listened to the answering machine..and I noticed something funny about the machine so I investigated and figured out that my mother got us caller ID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 This is big news. I heart caller id. Cause..I don't pick up the phone. But now that I know who is calling I will be more likely to pick it up. and it's just awesome.
But funny story on how we got it. My mother got a call from the telus guy. And he said something along the lines of "I see you've been making lot's of long distance calls, would you like to get a better plan so it's cheaper?" .and my mother did. And the plan included caller id. and the only reason that we have had more long distance calling is because I have been phoning Josh at camp. Sooooooooooooooooooooooo I have Josh to thank for finally getting my life long dream(no joke.)
Today has been better than Christmas, my Birthday and Halloween combined.
Although, seeing as I don't really like christmas and my birthday is halloween...that doesn't make this day seem that great. Let's try again.
Today has been better than 'Dancing in the rain to a Taylor Swift soundtrack with my fishy umbrella and those sweet polka dot rainboots I saw at value village two weeks ago'. Yeah, that good.
We went to Wendy's today. I really wanted to get the taco salad thing but I changed my mind when I heard my dad order it. That would be awkward if we got the same thing :).
P.s. I did not like my potato at all.
As we were leaving I saw these forms for "The Birthday Club". I grabbed one, I was really excited. I really wanted to be special and receive free things on my birthday. My heart was crushed when I went to fill out the form and saw that it was for kids ages 10 and under. Apparently they don't accept kids at heart.
In other news, I got my hair cut on Friday.
This is pretty monumental seeing as I usually only get a haircut every..two years. I just really wanted some layers, my hair before was pretty straightforward and boring and when I had it down it would be poofy and thick. So I layered it a big to help flatten. P.s. the only reason it looks huge and poofy in the picture is because it's still wet.
She chopped off an inch at the bottom though. I cringed a little. My hair grows extremely slow and I have been trying to get long hair for a long time.
I played bass at church today. It was pretty awesome. I had alot of fun. It was the first time I have ever played bass in front of people. I kept freaking out and thinking I was playing the wrong notes. Only 1/50th of the time I actually was playing the wrong notes :). Definitely something I would like to do again.
I had like five different dreams. And I woke up like 10 times.
But funniest of all.
I had to dreams, in which I worked at Starbucks. So I kept waking up during these dreams and feeling the need to clean my room cause nobody would want to come into a Starbucks if it was dirty.
And I actually did end up cleaning my room a bit during one. But then I realized what I was doing and crawled back into bed.
I used to do this sort of thing when I first started working at Tim Hortons. Maybe my brain is telling me I should switch jobs?
I'm just really glad this happened on the day I had more time to sleep than usual.
When I get a stupidly bad drink from VV#2 all I have to do is bring it over to my store to get it fixed. And then they make it extra special just to make me happy.
And when I'm in the back of the store. And I realize something amazing. All I have to do is smile and put my arms out and my manager comes, picks me up and swings me around.
The sad part is I can't remember what made me so happy.
One of our regulars(XL Refill Steeped Tea 3 Sugar 2 Cream Microwaved for 45 seconds but actually only 30 because we have decided 45 is too long) gave Me, Julie and Rylee strawberries on Saturday.
I'll still keep at the no Starbucks thing. I just don't want to worry about too much right now. It's overload. So, I'll save the 40 day plan for another month..or year.
p.s. I love my job. More than that, I love the people I work with. They got me through the day. And I had fun.
Alright guys, here's the thing. Bikini season is coming up and I am so not ready. Eww, not that I'm going to be wearing a bikini. But just saying.
I've come up with a challenge for myself. To try and get me into shape. And maybe lose a couple pounds. Not that I need to. But i think with the way I will be doing things it will be hard not to lose weight. At least that's what I'm trying to tell myself.
Okay. So for the next 40 days I will: 1. Be eating breakfast everyday. Even if it is just something small. But NOT eating breakfast at Tim Hortons. Well, at least not a breakfast sandwhich or anything. Those things are so bad for you. 2. Be carrying a water bottle with me everywhere. And not only will I be carrying this everywhere I might actually take a sip from it occasionally. :) 3.Be doing at least 15 minutes of physical activity per day. I was going to say just the exercise bike but sometimes I'm not at home all day so I'll broaden the terms and we'll see how it goes. 4.Not be weighing myself. At last of all..the most important one. 5. Not be going to Starbucks. OMG :). Well, I can't say not at all cause you never know when you have to go for coffee with somebody and there is nowhere to go but Starbucks so I will allow myself to get tea if I go. But nothing else. Definitely not any baked good. :( Goodbye sweet beloved cupcakes.
Now I know this is going to be a challenge. Trust me. I was on the bike today and I started massively sweating after 5 minutes. I'm not a very routine girl and I'm hardly healthy at all. But hopefully during this time I will start feeling more fit. And maybe I will be able to ease off of my starbucks addiction. I'm sure my wallet and my mother would like me better cause of that.
So one final weigh in. 117.2 I will find it ironic if at the end of this I weigh more.
P.s. I'm going to need some punishments for if I skip a day. Can you help me out with thinking some up? P.P.S. Every week I'll review and if I'm doing okay with it all I might start adding more rules.
Well, I can't say it was the best V-day I've ever had. It was definitely the one with the most mood swings ever though :).
But I had some amazing times.
I didn't want to be stuck at home on Valentines day so I invited a friend to have dinner with me. I phoned to make reservations and then dressed up and picked up food on the way.
I set the table I had reserved and hurried to pick up Kandace. We were escorted to our table and serve the house beverage on ice.
There were three courses and so much food that some of us could hardly put a dent in it.
Our regulars laughed at us. And we had an amazing time.
Some might call us crazy for having a nice dinner at the place we work. But I thought it was genius and way more fun that going to an actual restaurant would have been.
1.Not having to wake up at six am. 2.Doing something ridiculous and then laughing at myself cause I am so weird. 3.Laughing in general. 4.2 words: Fake Enthusiasm. Sometimes I entertain myself on Drive-Thru orders by pretending I'm really happy and that I really care about what they are ordering. 5.Green. Like the color.
That's all. I will sleep now. But I have song for you. If you don't dance along that is just plain sad.
Unless it hates you and doesn't play..in that case just click on the box and it should send you to the url on youtube of it.
Of people asking what I'm doing with my life. *EDIT* I'm not 'getting' annoyed. I got there a long time ago*
Sometimes I just want to smack people. (Yes, I can be very abusive :).
But seriously. People keep asking me where I plan on going to school and what I will be taking. And it makes me a little mad. Because who's to say that I don't want to spend the rest of my life working at a minimum wage job. I know sure it doesn't sound the greatest but if that's what I really enjoyed then why not?
Not everybody HAS to go to school after they graduate. Lot's of people don't.
p.s. I'm not saying I don't want to go to school. It's just that I have enough pressure and stress just worrying/thinking about it myself and that's without having people ask me every day.
I do not want to be a Tim Hortons lifer. Just making that VERY clear.
I will *not* admit that I like this song. It's just really cute..and it's been stuck in my head for the last couple days.
After listening to this song on the radio and other places for like a month I finally found out it was by Justin Bieber only like a week ago. It made me laugh.
Trying to find the chords for 'Bad day', I came across this instead. I thought it was really cute. And since I couldn't do a cover it myself I thought I would show this one.
Some things you should know: 1.An 8-4 shift is horrible. That half an hour makes all the difference. 2. The new whole leaf tea from Starbucks? Looks cool..but I can't stand their Earl Grey. I'm thinking that this is the reason I didn't like the London Fog the one time I tried it there. 3.Planning is fun. 4.Organizing is also fun. 5.When sleeping in the half an hour doesn't make any difference. 6.When I go to movies I get paranoid and convince myself I didn't lock the car and I don't enjoy the movie because of that. 7.When Bluenotes online has a free shipping sale I get extremely happy. 7 1/2. But not when the only shirt I would think to buy is extremely low priced..in large.. 8.Everett Manning died. We had a funeral for him on Saturday. I got over the grief pretty quickly. But I don't think I'm ready for another commitment that huge quite yet. 9.This new hair dye is awesome possum. I had my hair up all day and usually if I take it out at the end it is all over the place and has nasty lines in it. But I took my hair out of the pony tail today and it was all smooth and sleek. And I was happy. Before I dyed it.. And after I dyed it.. 10. Arms can be nasty.
Helloooo everybody. Guess what? Today is the last full day. I have enjoyed it immensely. But..not that sad to see it go either. Tonight I'm going to do another huge clean and then tomorrow I work so I will just have to trust that the boys can keep it clean for the few short hours from when they wake up to when the parents arrive. Then it's back to being a normal teenager without a care in the world :).
Yesterday(Saturday) was a really..weird day. I spent the day of it hanging with my two favoritest people. We did lots of important things like make cookies, color with crayons and drink TONS of tea. We also did one extra important thing..but I'm not ready to blog about that.
Later in the day people started arriving..and yeah..it was just a casual little party thing with games, wii and food. It was good. Have to admit that the cinnamon buns were the best. Either that or me spitting 'blood' all over the table.
I didn't get to bed until 3. Pretty crazy.
This morning was great. We didn't have to be at church until the service started at 10:30. I don't think that has ever happened before. :). Oh also. To get myself through the day we went to Timmies first for caffiene. On the way over I decided on my order and added up the previously memorized prices so by the time I got to the start of the drive thru I already had my perfect change ready. It made me happy. ..Yeah..I know I'm strange.
After church I picked up Noah from Grama's where he had been so we didn't have to worry about him while we had friends over the night before. Drove home. Had lunch. Did some stuff (Like dying my again AGAIN!). And the went back into town to see a movie I've been dying to watch for a while. Didn't get to see it with the person I wanted to see it with..but. There is not much I could do about that.
Sat in rain for awhile..had some dinner. And then went to the worship night at Calvary Community Church. It was pretty great. But I was really tired.
Now I'm here typing away when I should be sleeping..sheesh. Okay here I go. More work tomorrow. Yay. But Lasagna for supper. Looking forward to that amazingness.
Thursday and Friday I worked so by the time I got home after working and doing errands I was in no mood to clean. Which is when I started to realize that my mother is right. If you are not constantly cleaning up after everybody the house can go back to looking like it did in the first place..in a matter of minutes. So I just didn't really worry about it for a while. Until Friday night. I was home the whole evening anyway so I tidied everything back up. And did the semi huge pile of dishes that had been stacking up.
Me and Noah went out around 8 to get gas and slurpees and pick Alex up from Hockey. There was an accident on the drive down. A car was completely flipped over. It looked really bad. Hopefully everyone is okay.
OH MY EXHAUSTION! This day. Seriously. I have been going nonstop since 10 this morning.
It feels good to have so much accomplished but still. By the last hour of running around town I was counting down the minutes. But while I was in a store the kids were listening to the radio and asked me if we could go watch the torch relay since it was pretty much right there.
They said it was my fault that they wanted to see it since I had asked them yesterday if they wanted to go. Blah. We parked quite a bit away and walked up the the street. And realized that I had forgotten my camera which I knew was not a smart idea since this is such a historic event. So I ran back. Which is when I figured out that I am not in shape AT ALL.
Anyways. We saw the torch. Yay. We have flags and tamborines and pictures so we can remember this day forever.
Now I'm going to watch a movie until I fall asleep and not worry about any cleaning. I feel like such a rebel.
P.s. This morning since we had a little extra time I got the mail before we left. There was an invitation for me in there. For the wedding of two really good friends from camp. It made me really excited. I was freaking out the entire trip in. You can ask Sean. And then every time I caught a glimpse of it during the day I would smile.
What a lazy day. Woke up around 8 and did a couple things. But then Noah's piano teacher came so I escaped downstairs to watch tv. I was cleaning while watching though.
After lunch I went for a nap. Kind of slept through the 20 minute alarm and finally woke up almost 2 hours later.
Did some laundry then. And vacuuming. Made supper and cleaned my room, and then did some organizing.
Went back to the tv after that and Me, Sean and Noah watch 'Wheel of Fortune', 'Jeopardy' and 'American Idol' together. Lot's of fun. Every commercial break we would run around cleaning and race back to watch again.
My last show got interrupted by a semi unexpected visitor. But he brought me flowers so I didn't get mad at him.
I do love flowers. The rest of the night mostly consisted of planning out the next day and ironing :).
Haha, It would appear that I'm not that great at making food for only three people. There was SOO much left.
But today was pretty good over all. I woke up relatively early. Yes, it was an hour after my alarm went off but still.
During the morning I cleaned the mudroom(the back door where we put all our shoes). And the van. That's all I had time for.
We went to Starbucks first. I'm sorry that I have an addiction. Picked up Isaac and went up to the skating rink. I felt so official walking in there with my coffee and blanket and helping 'my' child put on his skates. :).
Even more official was grocery shopping after. Although, I couldn't find a couple things so I had to ask an employee. How embarrassing, Haha.
I even got gas on the way home.
And the mail.
At home it has been constant cleaning since then. Kitchen cupboards. Inside and out. The Foyer. Walls. Floors(I heart nail polish remover.). I made supper in there somewhere. And helped Noah with piano theory. Basically I have just been carrying a cloth with me everywhere and I can always find something that needs to be dusted or washed.
Tomorrow I tackle downstairs and vacuuming. Oh, and laundry. And I guess cleaning my own bedroom is a good idea :).
Today I learned: 1. Makeup is not always a must. I chose sweeping over painting my face today. 2. Naps are a really good idea. By six I was so tired and just wanted to sleep then. Definitely fitting in a nap time tomorrow. 3. Google is my friend. Simply type in a question such as "How do I get black marks off the floor?" and millions of answers pop up. Which is where my love for nail polish remover came from.
Well, I'm off to bed. Tomorrow I get to stay home all day but the piano teacher is coming in the morning, Hence the helping Noah do piano theory at ten at night :).
It wasn't even a full day and already alot has happened.
Ahem. For those of you who haven't been informed, or just have forgotten cause it's not of that much importance to you: My Mother and Father have officially left for Mexico. Leaving 4 children here unattended for a week and two days.
Short recap(it's been a long day and I actually have to wake up early tomorrow.): Two minutes after saying goodbye to the parents Noah starts crying. All the way home. Getting out the van at home I assured him that he was strong and he was going to be fine. He replied that he was not strong and he wanted mom and left to do some more crying in his room. Came out a while later. Tried talking to him again and during that he informed me that "I don't thing I will survive." It was so sad but very cute. We watched a movie to keep his mind off them being gone. I fell asleep during it. I felt very old.
Cleaned fridges after that. Haha, I banished all of Mom's Keifer to the extra fridge. I was almost going to get rid of it all when I noticed 'Don't Throw' on every container. Clever, mom.
Went out to C&C. Came home to Noah in bed like I asked him. But 5 minutes later started having another crying fit. I'm really hoping this doesn't go on for the entire week. Can't say I'm the best at comforting 9 year olds.
Sean has been normal through all this. And even if there was a funny story he might happen upon this blog and get mad at me for telling the world. So I'll just stick to the cute Noah stories.
Tomorrow is skating, groceries and a whole bunch of cleaning. Yay. No sarcasm,I am actually very excited.
I missed my BIRTHDAY! Well, My blogs birthday that is. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BLOG!
It has been three whole years. Quite proud of myself. Especially since I started with blogger back then just as an experiment.
Looking back on this last year it seems that 2009 wasn't the best blogging year. Having a whole 83 less posts than the year before. But my excuse is that as I'm getting older my writing is improving and I am starting to realize that there is some things that you just don't have to blog about.
1. Sweet dreams. 2.Nachos dipped in sour cream. 3.Getting things accomplished. 4.Catching up. 5.Waking up to see I have unread texts. 6.Trying to set up a bedframe at 11 o' clock at night. Getting it almost finished and then realizing we did something wrong so we have to go back to square one. 7.Changing things up. 8.Playing hockey. 9.Waking up only to find out you can sleep for another two hours before your alarm goes off. 10.Being myself. 11.Being a mom. Haha. On that note. This morning I was really worried cause Everett wasn't swimming very much and was just chilling at the bottom of the bowl..I feared the worst. But later on in the day he went back to being his usual happy self. And then after supper he was doing the cutest thing. I put some food flakes in and he actually ATE them! I was so happy..but then two seconds later he spit them out. And they floated down to the bottom..I put some more in..the same thing happened. He eats them and then couple seconds later spits them out. Maybe I should be worried. Oh well.
Like, thermometers, name tags and bottles at work.
Sweet songs to do for worship.
A frame for my bed that raises the boxspring off the ground and now I am so high off the floor. It's crazy.
Unread notes for me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had to work at 6 this morning. I didn't get to bed until 11:30ish and then I couldn't sleep for over an hour cause I was stressing over stuff. Then I kept waking up during the night cause my brain knew that I would probably sleep through my alarm. I didn't get much sleep at all. The two expresso shots I had didn't really help at all. :(. why does caffiene never work when I want it too? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My Everett is still alive. I consider it to be a miracle. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Robert Pattinson should stick to Twilight. I started another movie of his tonight and after 5 minutes decided that it wasn't worth me staying up really late to watch it. So I might finish tomorrow. I might not..we'll see.
I would like to introduce to you my new little baby boy, Everett Manning Lefebvre. To be honest, I have no idea what gender the fish is but I would like to pretend it is a boy :).
I have been wanting a blackmoor goldfish FOREVER. And finally last Thursday I got one. Got set up in his new little home. But..he wouldn't eat. And still won't eat so I did some researching. I'm doing all the right stuff except..A Black Moor Goldfish is supposed to live in a 10 gallon tank. Well, I don't have one. And don't have the space and I'm not going to go out there and buy one just for one $5 fish that might only live for another two days since he is not eating. So, as bad as this sounds if he lives he lives and if he dies..I'll go buy a fish that can live in a smaller tank. But I really love this guy already. I talk to him and everything.
Who am I to judge a cupcake by it's color? After posting about the other two and then feeling bad for leaving Miss Red Velvet in the dark I went the next day and purchased her to relieve my conscience.
Who am I to discriminate just cause she is named after Fabric and is a shade of red that I do not think is healthy for my stomach. I was willing to give her a chance. A chance to live up to the others. Well... Epic fail. She doesn't taste good at all. And her icing was all smooshed and not very good looking. I think next time I will trust my instincts and not go and buy the 3 dollar cupcake just because somebody said it tastes really good.
They are so pretty. And I buy them just to have photoshoots. The plus is they taste amazing too. There is one more in the set but I'm not a fan of red velvet so I haven't gotten it. Even though it looks BEAUTIFUL! One thing they could change is the amount of icing. There is WAY too much.
So, I have this friend. Who ditched me. So when you think about it he's not really a friend at all :). He is pretty awesome. He wears the toque I got for him even though it is the dorkiest thing I have ever seen. Terrible taste in tea though. Just saying. "Buddy, it's called Earl Grey and it tastes great." Usually he is kind and let's me play my Taylor Swift even though he cannot stand it at all.
See? It's all sunshine.
Now onto more important matters. How can I phrase this.. To put it bluntly. When I'm sick I have the stomach of a pregnant lady. HAH. Weren't expecting that were you?
But seriously. I get Nauseous. I have cravings. The smell or sight of this just makes me want to hurl. Apparently it's quite entertaining for some people though *Cough*Mother*Cough*.
Today I saw a cheesecake. Yumm, I was drawn to it. But then all of the sudden I had to turn and away and close my eyes before I emptied my stomach right there on the floor.
Cravings. Haha, right now would be Grapefruit. I have both pop and juice..and bodywash but I don't think that will help much in satisfying the craving.
Anyway. If I see you in the next little while..that would be impossible but if I do..and you offer me food or are wearing any kind of scent do not take it personally when I start gagging.
It makes me happy inside when I peruse the pages of youtube and find a sound that I like and get into the artist. It makes me happy because..I don't like this because my friends all like it or because it is on the top 40.
