It's been 11 days!

Did you miss me?

Well, let's see.

Herald Camping was...FUN. Obviously camping is always fun.
Funnest part must have been..Just chilling around..or :D cuddling in the night times.

Then Sunday night we all went to Terminator 4(?).
Which I thought was really good but apparently I would have liked it alot better if I had watched the first 3.

Monday I worked..ahahha it was lots of fun, as usual.
I'm not going to detail but apparently we accidently put tuna in a lady's snack wrap.
I couldn't really understand that seeing as we have not carried tuna in our store for over 2 years.
And then she went on to tell me that I better go clean the tables because there was no empty tables.

Tuesday..I went to the boys game..which..was painful. 12-0. I was pretty much crying the entire time :).

Wednesday. Went to the mall for the first time in a lonnng time. Had lunch with the mother and the auntie and went to the only store worth visiting and bought a sweet shirt. Then choir..and bible study.

Thursday. Choir..and then later the fine arts festival.
*Pause*
So for Jill and any other people who might be in the dark (of course Jill might have figured this out by now..)
In February I joined the KCS choir and have been going to practises 2-3 times a week. Then at the beginning of this month we went on a trip to Three Hills, Alberta to have this giant choir learning thing.)
*Unpause*
So the Fine arts festival is like a recital..but it's for the band, choir, art class, sewing class , cooking class and any other classes I might have missed. This was technically our only concert type thing which I think is stupid but oh well. I was really not looking forward to it but it actually turned out okay. And I had oreo cheesecake which was AMAZING!

So then Thursday night at 9 I stopped eating. Why I stopped eating so early I do not know..

Friday: No eating..choir..boys game..church..

Saturday: More no eating..which was for the Hungry for Haiti thing(basically 30 hour famine with a different name). And then eating. Which did not satisfy me at all.

But now, here I am.
All by myself.
Without my computer.
Which I am not going to explain at the moment.

30 years, People!

On this day, May 19th, thirty years ago. My mother and father were married.
I don't know what else to say.
So I won't.
But tomorrow if I get the chance I will put up a picture from back then.
This was the latest picture I had and it's almost midnight so I couldn't well go and get a newer one could I?

Picture Post......

The ultimate pen.

A birthday present perhaps?

Awwwww.

For Amanda.

Similar to the incident of December's PJ Pants, last year I saw this shirt at Thrifties that I really liked. But for a very good reason(either it was price or size, I don't rightly remember) I didn't buy it. Of course I regretted it.
*Pause* I hate it how all the impulse buys I do are always a bad idea, but the ones I wish I had done are the items I regret not having bought. If that makes sense.
*Unpause*
So fast forward a couple months. To last June. I worked almost full time the entire month and I got to know the day shift workers really well. Well, last day I'm working. Amanda finishes her shift and is walking out in her normal clothes. Lo and behold, she is wearing the very shirt that I had wanted.
I guess I must have been making a funny face cause she stopped and asked what was wrong. I explained to her that I loved her shirt...*blah* *blah* end of story: we switched shirts. Thankfully I had worn a not-so-loved shirt that day and it fit her so..yeah. Now I have this prized shirt.
And one of the cute things is she wore really heavy perfume and you can still smell it on the shirt even though I've washed it numerous times. So every time I wear it, I smell lovely.

P.S. No, I still don't know what is written on it.

I heart ROADTRIPS!!!!

Well, apparently google maps is wrong. Veryyy wrong. It did not take 9 hours. It took around 12-13 hours. Of course you have to figure in the time change and everything too but I'm pretty sure it was around there.
The trip there was okay...I basically just listened to other people talk. I actually didn't use my i-pod at all during the trip except like 10 minutes before bed one of the nights.

We stopped..somewhere for lunch..and most of us went to Mcdonalds and it was so fun cause it was McHappy day..And there was balloons and it was very exciting. And then we stopped somewhere for supper..it was like Canmore? or something..All I know is that it was in Alberta. And I went to DQ..with the boys. But I sat at a different table than them because I didn't even know them at that point. And I walked back to the bus but nobody was there so I sat outside taking pictures..So the next three pictures are from that.

So, we finally got there at like 10:30. We got our keys for our rooms and our bags and we went up to the dorms. There was a trick about the doors though that was quite annoying at times. Everybody had a pass card thing...and in order to get into the dorms you had to swipe it..then the door unlocks and you open it and go through except...if the door is open for more than...(we never figured out how long) lets say a minute, this really loud alarm goes off. So I was always scared that I was going to set it off. Another thing about that is after 11 p.m. the swipe cards don't work anymore so you have to be in the dorms by that time. Pretty lame if you ask me.
General overview of my time at three hills.
We sang alot.
Our choir got adjudicated(which for all you non musical people out there means: Our choir sang for this music director guy and he told us all the things we did wrong so now we have to fix that stuff.).
And we sang some more.
The Thursday night we were hanging out in the cafe place. It was so much fun. I was actually talking to people..quite amazing. And I got free food.
Okay then Friday we sang, sang, sang then performed all the pieces we had been practising. It was..okay. Friday night was fun because we were the only choir there. We ordered pizza from the chinese food place and played soccer and listened to music. Then after 11 the girls watched a movie..but it looked kind of boring and I was tired so I just went to bed.

Saturday morning we packed everything up and drove about 3 hours to Edmonton. We got to the mall at like 11. And I went around with some of the girls. It wasn't very fun. But whatever. We found two of the guys and they came with us to the Theme park...Where three of the girls went on the rollercoaster. And then we went on one other ride. And we had to meet up with the group to make sure that everybody was alive. Then some of us went to the Old Spaghetti Factory. After we had like half an hour so me and Michelle did some power shopping. Seriously everything I bought was like 20 minutes before we left. Quite amazing.

Matt modeling Sinja's sunglasses.

Sinja and Ruth on a ride.

The group at 'The Old Spaghetti Factory'

So. After the mall we went to this church where we were staying the night. Libby took over my phone at that point and was glued to it for the rest of the night.
We had a fashion show to show of what we had purchased, then some karaoke, which was actually a danceoff. Then a game. Then bed.
We woke up at about 7..? the next morning, packed our stuff up and departed. We didn't get breakfast for like 2 hours after that, it was crazy.
Then yeah...there's not much else to tell. Me, Matt, Chris and Sinja played the grocery store food game on the way home....And I showed Chris the colour switch feature on my camera so he took alot of pictures like the one below.
Oooo, true story. I did not sleep on the bus trip there or back. I'm pretty proud of myself.

So, there is my first trip ever to Alberta. Can't say it was the best time I've ever had but..there was some enjoyable moments. And now I can say that I never ever ever want to go on a roller coaster.

Well now..

Thanks to my trusty friend 'Google Maps' I was able to figure out how long my trip to Alberta was going to take.
9 hours and 10 minutes.
Eeeep.
I am not good with long car trips.
The longest one I've been on was like 6  hours and some of that was on a ferry so it doesn't really count.
This trip is going to suck even more because I will be on a bus rather than the comfort of my own vehicle, and I don't really know anybody.
So, charge the i-pod and sharpen the pencils because I leave in two days.
This will be the first time I have ever been to anywhere in Canada besides my own province.

A major accomplishment.

Those of you who know me, know that I am not a fan of physical activity.
I tend to shy away from playing games and such that require..well pretty much anything that requires moving! :).
The one exception is my walks in Valleyview. But, I noticed that I have been gaining weight and those walks aren't making the difference that I wished they would.
I came to the realization that this was probably because I wasn't challenging myself.
Well, not to worry. I most definitely challenged myself today.
I walked up the Juniper Hill. Waittt I got more. I walked up the Juniper hill without stopping.
Granted a couple times I slowed my pace but I am more than pleased with myself.
I felt the burn. Pretty much from the start. Felt the sweat. Noticed that that hill has got to be the grossest thing ever. There was garbage everywhere.
Two things that I regret:
1. Improper shoes. As you can see from the picture I was wearing flip flops. BAD IDEA. Cannot be good for my reoccurring case of shinsplints.
2.No water. The stupid thing is I was totally going to bring some..and then I forgot. The whole way up the hill I was dreaming of that cool water backpack thing that Matthew has. It's like a backpack with a pouch of water inside and it's got a tube that you put in your mouth. Anyway.

My head was this strange combo of burning up and cold all at the same time.
And I felt like I was going to throw up for most of the walk.

The faithful legs that just kept plodding along even though they were screaming to quit.

The first picture didn't show my pain well enough so I had to take another one.

:(

I realized today that I don't cry anymore.
It made me sad.

10 signs that you are a mom-in-training.

*Note* Some/all of these might have happened to me in my recent history.*

1. You go grocery shopping. Extra points if you did not buy anything you did not need.

2.You woke up at five a.m. and considered staying in bed 'til six a luxury.

3.You had a nap, and still feel like you could go to bed at 8 p.m.

4.You make bread, and feel like that is such a big accomplishment. Extra points if since you made 4 loaves you already are thinking of freezing one and giving away another.

5.You clean the kitchen just because you like seeing it clean. And have the initiative to take out the garbage because it is full.

6.You overcome your gag reflex and throw out all the moldy food in the fridge. Bonus points if you wash out the vegetable crisper as well.

7. As you are going about your business you see the job that you were supposed to do yesterday, and you do it without anybody telling you too.

8.You listen to music that nobody between the ages of 15-30 would even think of listening to.

9.You put the water on for tea, then forget about until two hours later when the water is cold again.(=) this one happens to my mom all the time...of course it scares me that I am becoming like her at such an early age.)

10. Instead of your old cravings of pop and candy. You are starting to be drawn to healthy things such as fruit and water.

Ahhhhh I'm at peace.

Have you ever felt that really peaceful feeling.
That feeling you only get once you have planned a big part of your life and you know exactly what you need to do in order to reach your goal.

Well, okay. It's only this summer I have planned but right now, the fact that I could even plan that much is pretty amazing.

So here is my plan.
1.Get school done by the end of May(which considering may is a really busy month for me..it's going to be hard. I have Homeschool convention, Choir trip to Alberta, Harold park and prolly a million other things.
2. Work a little extra in June to save up money for the summer..and drivers ed..
3.Go to camp for the whole summer (If they will have me.).

Just today I decided I wouldn't go to Kissm..because..well lots of reasons.
Which means instead of being here in July for the first time in over three years..I will be gone..forever. Of course none of you guys really care since most of you are gone too.

So maybe it's a good thing I will not be here for those three weeks because there would be nothing to do.

Umm.

Do you know what isn't a fun thing?
Staying up til 4:30 in the morning cause you know you can sleep in a bit longer than usual in the morning. And then having your cell phone start ringing at 8.
I would have been semi okay with that if it had been a friend and there had been a purpose.
But no. It was a wrong number. And then I could not get back to sleep after that.
And now I feel horrible and I just want to die.
But no I can't do that I have to go watch an hour and a half of boring karate tests of people I don't even know!!!!!!!!!
But I will see Kandace's test at the end so I guess that is a consolation. =).

So, I've been neglecting my blog lately.
I'm sorry. Well not really but..:).

I went on one of my alone date's last night. I went to Harolds again. I ordered the same thing as last time but it did not taste as good. Not at all. So I think next time I am going to Malibu. Since I have not been there in years.

I don't know what else to say.
My life is pretty blah right now.

Actually. I was in class yesterday and we were singing lalallalalala and then the bell rang. And I was so excited cause I had never heard the bell ring to dismiss us before since my teacher always lets us go early. Anyway. I just read that last bit and decided that I am a loser.

Kep. That's all I got for now.

Creeping 101

1.When creeping someones a.facebook page b.blog or c.msn profile it is always better not to let them know, but in the future bring up random facts that you know about them. Trust me, it will freak them out more.
Being the quiet(well not really anymore) small shy girl that I am, I always think that nobody knows me and that I just know everything about everybody else.
It's always really weird for me at like church when random people come up to me and they know my name...Yes, I don't really know where this is going..I've just been thinking about it lately.

So for Jill's sake I will write a little about camp.
1. The food was AMAZING! And trust me I ate so much. I went up for like 3rds and 4ths for every meal. I came home and weighed myself and I had gained two pounds..but I'm not going worry about that right now.

2.My campers were AMAZING! Compared to all the other cabins I've been in, this cabin was a dream. There was never really any problems and they got along..pretty well :).

3. The weather was..not amazing. Here's the thing. I came expecting summer weather since that is what it had been like in Kamloops but no. I get there and there's snow and mud and nastyness, everywhere. Not fun. So the whole week my shoes were soaked. One night it snowed and then one of the days it rained for a long time.

So there's basic jist of it without going into detail.

All you have to know is I'm happy and alive.

I am too tired to go into a long speal about camp and frankly I don't want to.

All I know is (0.) my body is on camp schedule (1.) my 'usual' bedtime is 9:30 (2.) I didn't get a nap today and (3.) I am freaking tired. So ask me in person if you really want to know.

For all you chai tea lovers..

Try a 'Large Steamed milk with 1 chai tea bag and two pumps of sweetener'.
Now I am not going to lie, it was not fantastic, but I think that's only because I was not in the type of mood for that sort of drink.
The only reason I had it was because I keep forgetting about it and I finally remembered today.
So yes.

Anyways. I'm off for my spring break camp adventure. I actually have a camera this time so there will be pictures. I hope I remember to actually take pictures. It will be Epic.

Here I am at 12 hours til I leave and I'm not even packed yet. I'm crazy.
I'm going to forget so much since I will be half asleep in the morning.

Anyway. Prayer would be appreciated. I am trying to put myself in the mindset of being a leader and having kids look up to me, it's slow going seeing as usually I am the one being the kid myself.

I'm sure it will be fine/fun. I just need to chillax. I will be taking my happy pills along, just in case.

*Gasp*

Someone just asked me if "Hot Chocolate" was my wannabe swear word.
*Shocked face*
I was offended, to say the least.
Still am.
Also considering never talking to that person ever again.
If they only knew what it really meant.

Hmm.

I have been told 4 or more times that I look like the girl from Twilight.
My cousin went and saw it in theatre and she said it was like I was on screen.

I'm not really seeing it myself.

You know you are addicted when..

You go to your work place 5 days in a row and you don't even work full-time.

Well, I am milking the opportunity of living at my Grandparents house that is literally just around the corner. Friday when I got here I went down to do some training CD's, and ended up staying there quite a while. While I was there Danika asked me to pick up a shift for the next day. And I can't say no to people unless there is a legitimate excuse.

So Saturday I worked from 9-1:30. Then Cade picked me up and we went straight to Kyley's birthday party which was alot of fun. It was also very..let's say enlightening (but don't even ask I won't tell you). Came home. Stayed up 'til 3:00 in the morning*note* It technically was only 2 in my head* talking to people on facebook chat.

Woke up today..well presses the snooze button a couple times then turned it off. So much for getting things done this morning. And went down to Timmies again. Of course I had an excuse this time..I was getting breakfast for my grampa and food for my Sunday school class. So Yeah, later on I will be going to a work meeting and tomorrow I have to work. So there you have it.
Somebody who needs to be kept away from the coffee and donuts. My hoodie has been there so much it has the nasty coffee smell. It's so gross.

Some things you should know..

..But you probably don't #2.
*Note* As you might have noticed, I have not been blogging as much as is my usual. But I will have you know that I have been trying..I had like 6 drafts but they were all short and boring and most of the things I was talking about is long in the past so I took two of the 'information' ones and am mashing them together. So some of the facts might be a little outdated.
1. I take my tea black but my coffee double double.
2.I can live with only small amounts of sleep, but I prefer not to.
3. My eyes are exactly the same, like same prescription. So if I accidently switched my contacts I would be okay.
4.I used to get a chubby chicken burger every time I went to the mall and sour patch kids every time I went to the movie theater.
5.I am really shy when I first start thing and then as time goes by I get more confident and like my normal self.
1. Chocolate kisses start tasting funny if you save them so eat them right away....I guess that could go for real kisses too :).
2. I hit my head on the corner of my desk this morning, while I was still sleeping. It could have been really serious but it isn't, it just hurts like..nasty spiders though.
3.Disturbia is pretty much my favorite song right now. Every time it comes on a work(which is like at least once a shift) me and Taran start singing along.
4.I found $3.50 in the couch. It made me happy.
5.I love those days when I make everything clean and organized and I do everything I'm supposed to. But those days don't happen very often.
6.My hair is realllllllllllllly soft.
7.The other day my mother bribed me. I know. It was shocking.
8.Only wierdo's(like my family) has a turkey dinner in March.
9.I took off all the nailpolish on my toes today, and I counted 4 different colour layers.
10.When I am procrastinating from school I usually like to clean the house. Which always makes my mom mad, cause on one hand she wants me to do school but then on the other hand she likes having her house clean..=).
1. Hot smoothie with chai tea bag=the best thing ever!
