Did you miss me?
Well, let's see.
Herald Camping was...FUN. Obviously camping is always fun.
Funnest part must have been..Just chilling around..or :D cuddling in the night times.
Then Sunday night we all went to Terminator 4(?).
Which I thought was really good but apparently I would have liked it alot better if I had watched the first 3.
Monday I worked..ahahha it was lots of fun, as usual.
I'm not going to detail but apparently we accidently put tuna in a lady's snack wrap.
I couldn't really understand that seeing as we have not carried tuna in our store for over 2 years.
And then she went on to tell me that I better go clean the tables because there was no empty tables.
Tuesday..I went to the boys game..which..was painful. 12-0. I was pretty much crying the entire time :).
Wednesday. Went to the mall for the first time in a lonnng time. Had lunch with the mother and the auntie and went to the only store worth visiting and bought a sweet shirt. Then choir..and bible study.
Thursday. Choir..and then later the fine arts festival.
*Pause*
So for Jill and any other people who might be in the dark (of course Jill might have figured this out by now..)
In February I joined the KCS choir and have been going to practises 2-3 times a week. Then at the beginning of this month we went on a trip to Three Hills, Alberta to have this giant choir learning thing.)
*Unpause*
So the Fine arts festival is like a recital..but it's for the band, choir, art class, sewing class , cooking class and any other classes I might have missed. This was technically our only concert type thing which I think is stupid but oh well. I was really not looking forward to it but it actually turned out okay. And I had oreo cheesecake which was AMAZING!
So then Thursday night at 9 I stopped eating. Why I stopped eating so early I do not know..
Friday: No eating..choir..boys game..church..
Saturday: More no eating..which was for the Hungry for Haiti thing(basically 30 hour famine with a different name). And then eating. Which did not satisfy me at all.
But now, here I am.
All by myself.
Without my computer.
Which I am not going to explain at the moment.

For Amanda.
Similar to the incident of December's PJ Pants, last year I saw this shirt at Thrifties that I really liked. But for a very good reason(either it was price or size, I don't rightly remember) I didn't buy it. Of course I regretted it.
*Pause* I hate it how all the impulse buys I do are always a bad idea, but the ones I wish I had done are the items I regret not having bought. If that makes sense.
*Unpause*
So fast forward a couple months. To last June. I worked almost full time the entire month and I got to know the day shift workers really well. Well, last day I'm working. Amanda finishes her shift and is walking out in her normal clothes. Lo and behold, she is wearing the very shirt that I had wanted.
I guess I must have been making a funny face cause she stopped and asked what was wrong. I explained to her that I loved her shirt...*blah* *blah* end of story: we switched shirts. Thankfully I had worn a not-so-loved shirt that day and it fit her so..yeah. Now I have this prized shirt.
And one of the cute things is she wore really heavy perfume and you can still smell it on the shirt even though I've washed it numerous times. So every time I wear it, I smell lovely.
P.S. No, I still don't know what is written on it.

I heart ROADTRIPS!!!!
Well, apparently google maps is wrong. Veryyy wrong. It did not take 9 hours. It took around 12-13 hours. Of course you have to figure in the time change and everything too but I'm pretty sure it was around there.
The trip there was okay...I basically just listened to other people talk. I actually didn't use my i-pod at all during the trip except like 10 minutes before bed one of the nights.
We stopped..somewhere for lunch..and most of us went to Mcdonalds and it was so fun cause it was McHappy day..And there was balloons and it was very exciting. And then we stopped somewhere for supper..it was like Canmore? or something..All I know is that it was in Alberta. And I went to DQ..with the boys. But I sat at a different table than them because I didn't even know them at that point. And I walked back to the bus but nobody was there so I sat outside taking pictures..So the next three pictures are from that.
So, we finally got there at like 10:30. We got our keys for our rooms and our bags and we went up to the dorms. There was a trick about the doors though that was quite annoying at times. Everybody had a pass card thing...and in order to get into the dorms you had to swipe it..then the door unlocks and you open it and go through except...if the door is open for more than...(we never figured out how long) lets say a minute, this really loud alarm goes off. So I was always scared that I was going to set it off. Another thing about that is after 11 p.m. the swipe cards don't work anymore so you have to be in the dorms by that time. Pretty lame if you ask me.
General overview of my time at three hills.
We sang alot.
Our choir got adjudicated(which for all you non musical people out there means: Our choir sang for this music director guy and he told us all the things we did wrong so now we have to fix that stuff.).
And we sang some more.
The Thursday night we were hanging out in the cafe place. It was so much fun. I was actually talking to people..quite amazing. And I got free food.
Okay then Friday we sang, sang, sang then performed all the pieces we had been practising. It was..okay. Friday night was fun because we were the only choir there. We ordered pizza from the chinese food place and played soccer and listened to music. Then after 11 the girls watched a movie..but it looked kind of boring and I was tired so I just went to bed.
Saturday morning we packed everything up and drove about 3 hours to Edmonton. We got to the mall at like 11. And I went around with some of the girls. It wasn't very fun. But whatever. We found two of the guys and they came with us to the Theme park...Where three of the girls went on the rollercoaster. And then we went on one other ride. And we had to meet up with the group to make sure that everybody was alive. Then some of us went to the Old Spaghetti Factory. After we had like half an hour so me and Michelle did some power shopping. Seriously everything I bought was like 20 minutes before we left. Quite amazing.

So. After the mall we went to this church where we were staying the night. Libby took over my phone at that point and was glued to it for the rest of the night.
We had a fashion show to show of what we had purchased, then some karaoke, which was actually a danceoff. Then a game. Then bed.
We woke up at about 7..? the next morning, packed our stuff up and departed. We didn't get breakfast for like 2 hours after that, it was crazy.
Then yeah...there's not much else to tell. Me, Matt, Chris and Sinja played the grocery store food game on the way home....And I showed Chris the colour switch feature on my camera so he took alot of pictures like the one below.
Oooo, true story. I did not sleep on the bus trip there or back. I'm pretty proud of myself.

Well now..
Thanks to my trusty friend 'Google Maps' I was able to figure out how long my trip to Alberta was going to take.
9 hours and 10 minutes.
Eeeep.
I am not good with long car trips.
The longest one I've been on was like 6 hours and some of that was on a ferry so it doesn't really count.
This trip is going to suck even more because I will be on a bus rather than the comfort of my own vehicle, and I don't really know anybody.
So, charge the i-pod and sharpen the pencils because I leave in two days.
This will be the first time I have ever been to anywhere in Canada besides my own province.
