We love Timmies!
So you know those things. The things that maybe you see one of your friends trying and then you think 'Oh, I should try that someday' and even if you really want to try you just never get around to trying it. Well, today I tried those things.
I guess I have already been doing it with Starbucks, but today was Timmies turn.
I didn't have much on the list.
1.Steeped Tea(yes it's true I've worked at Tim Hortons for over two years and I have never had steeped tea.)
2. Cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with butter.
3.Chai Tea with with cream and sugar.
So 1. It was okay. But very bland and boring. I guess cause I am just so used to earl grey which is basically the same tea but with more flavouring.
2. SOOO good. I don't like raisins but it tasted good anyway. So good that I took a second one home. Which was prolly a bad idea cause now there is buttery yuckiness all over my laptop.
3.Hmm well it was okay. It tasted very watery. It's good if you want something spicy and different. But I don't think I am a very big fan.
And just so you know. The picture is Seans birthday present. I just bought it today and I didn't get any wrapping paper so I just wrapped it in Tim Hortons packaging.

Today was pretty awesome.
I went to the career fair at the university in the morning.
I didn't really decide what to do with my life but I got some options.
I was seriously considering being a police officer but Josh started laughing when I told him so that kind of squashed that dream. Thanks Josh.
Then I went to skating. And I actually skated. But my skates are pretty uncomfortable, and my foot still hurts from my burn.
After that I went to my store and saw the damage.(I told you guys that my store got revamped right?). It is going to take alot of getting used to.
I went to McDonalds for lunch and I got a double cheese burger(of course). But, note to self. Never let mother pick where we are going to eat. There was a slightly annoying man seating by us and he kept telling us jokes that were not funny at all. My mom kept laughing at them out of pity, but I told her to stop cause that was making him tell us even more.
Then I went to Choir. I actually knew alot of the people and I signed up to buy chocolate chunk cookie dough. And yeah. I don't want to bad mouth the choir..it was..okay. The songs were really easy..or maybe I'm just to perfect :P.
Came home. Spent a couple hours here and then I went to the mall tonight while my parents were in a movie. I was looking for a grad dress. But I couldn't really find anything. So I spent about an hour and a half in thrifties..cleaning up and folding clothes and such..and dancing along to music(me and Robin waltzed to an Avril song).
Came home. And thats my day.
Sidenotes:
1.My mom finally phoned a fix-it guy about finishing our bathroom.
2.Coke and mint gum do not mix well.
3.I bought some pink grapefruit body lotion from the body shop and it smells soooo good.
4.I'm not good at finishing songs.

My new brother Cade. Only $3 at walmart. There was one that comes with a snowboard which would suit him but it was $15 and I am cheap.

Anyway, so last Saturday..well the before this past one. I was working. And it wasn't a very good day for me to begin with but of course it had to get worse. The district manager came. Anybody who hasn't worked at Timmies has no idea what I am tlaking about. I will try to explain.(District Manager: Big Official Dude who comes to all the stores across Canada and makes sure we look all clean and perfect. He gives us a score. And if out score is too low our managers get mad at us.)
So, he came in and was checking everything out. And I was pretty nervous cause in pretty much my two years+ of existence there I have never been at the store when he is doing his inspection. So I was cleaning everything and timing pots and pretending that I do that stuff all the time(:P.)
And It's hard to explain but next thing I knew there was coffee....all over me. And It would have been better if it had been a pot that had been sitting there for a while cause it would have been less hot but no. I had to have the one that was just brewing to it was ULTRA HOT and it was from a little above my hip bone to the tip of my toe. And my hand was in there for good measure. It hurt so bad. Like so bad I didn't even try to cover up the fact that I was crying.
And my luck is soooo good that I had to do that right when the D.M. was right in front of me. Well, there was a counter in the way but they saw the whole thing. Anyway, that is basically my story. I didn't even care about the fact that I had gotten hurt I just felt bad cause I wasn't working for like at least 15 minutes and everybody kept coming back to see if I was okay and that embarassed me alot.
My hand looked really good to begin with, it just hurt alot. And then it got worse and worse and now it just looks gross (heh heh, all I have to do it hold my hand in front of Noah and he runs away.)
That's pretty much it.
Oh yeah there is some burns on my leg too but they didn't show up well on the camera.

13.Collecting empty Tim Cards. I haven't figured out what I am going to do with them yet..but it's better than throwing them out.

19.Dancing(But I only do it when I'm alone cause people tend to laugh when they see me. Unless it's my irish dancing..then I don't care if people laugh cause it is kind of pathetic and hilarious.)
